Is that through Xbox? I already have a year of Live paid for from about March.
As long as you have never had game pass previously you can convert live to GP for €1
So you should go and buy 2 more years of live and then upgrade so you will have 30 or so months in total
Any idea when the deal expires? I'm hoping it'll be there on launch day.

Oddly the game I'm most looking forward to playing on series X when it is released is The Touryst. I really enjoyed the gameplay, and even on One X it has a style and look that is absolutely gorgeous. I was so impressed at how they got a game with that art style to look so impacting.

some of the puzzles on that were ridiculous. Very enjoyable game though
Some of the jumping stuff was pretty tricky. I just want to see what it looks like on a series X, apparently it's going to look even better. Not sure how.

Another Series X optimized game on game pass / free upgrade. Really looking forward to getting back on these.
I'm assuming it will be the same as the PC version I've been on. Will be interesting if you can download specific titles in the collection like on Steam.
At the moment you have to download the whole thing (except ODST and Reach campaigns I think) so I doubt it. Probably stay the same which is quite annoying as its not a light download. That plus Halo 5 and you're not far off 200gb.
Still no new game footage exclusive to the console?
120 FPS is nice and all, but how many people have a display that can out put that? Very few of imagine.

Cyberpunk and CrossfireX the only things I'll be purchasing when they come out (If CrossfireX doesnt come to gamepass). Might get Dirt 5 around Christmas when my Eve Spectrum monitor arrives

Is Halo the new Skyrim?
I've actually never played Halo, definitely going to have to give it a go at some point the way everyone goes on about it. Don't think I've even watched a gameplay video.
Halo 1 has aged poorly. Halo 3, however, is still fantastic.
Halo 1 is quick and easy and provides context to the series.
Halo 2 is still enjoyable.
Halo 3 has timelessly fun gameplay, doesn't look that bad on the eye, and is the perfect co-op game for you and three pals.
Halo Reach has aged more than 3 in my opinion, but is still a solid game.
I've not felt compelled to play the 343 ones, but Infinite intrigues me even if the gameplay is raw at the moment.

What's the attraction to halo? Is it the gameplay or storyline? Or is it both?

Both. What gameplay did you look at? It's an incredibly well crafted series. Clips/videos don't do it justice, it feels so good and rewarding to play.

I'm with you on this. Looks like an old PC game with the style of it imo. Shadows don't seem right either, something just seems off about it.
