Feels surreal to ask this, but I legit have no clue who it is.

It can't be Messi with his poor form since the restart. Ronaldo isn't either.

Lewandowski? Probably has the best argument, but he doesn't exactly ooze 'best player in the world' when you watch him.

The debate between Ronaldo and Messi seems to be nearing its end and it feels abit weird.

Kimmich maybe. He is good at so many things. Although as a fullback or defensive midfielder he will not get the biggest credit.

A good way to think about this: if you had absolutely one shot at having someone in a team right now to win you a football match, who would it be? Answer becomes very clear

That makes it even harder for me. Used to be Messi, but not sure anymore. Mbappe maybe?

Lewandowski for another year.

After that? Probably Mbappé

At the moment it's Lewandowski for me. He's been an absolute animal in 2020.

I think this is a really difficult question.
- Messi probably will be the best player in the world this season. He looks off the boil at the moment but he had virtually no pre-season due to his shenanigans this summer and so will take some time to warm up.
- Neymar looks way off it for me.
- Mbappe looks to me to be the most effective player in the world right now, although he completely failed to show that against us the other day
- Lewandowski is a fantastic scorer, but I'm not sure he influences games by himself to the extent the other candidates do
- KdB has had a slow start to the season but is probably the best all around player in the world right now, maybe kimmich would have argument there
- VVD - crocked :D

Kimmich gets my vote, the guy is insanely good, whether right back or in the middle.
Messi or Ronaldo are also up there!!

Lewa.

For the first time in over a decade, the best in the world aren’t streets ahead of the rest

Still Messi by a distance
Not even close.

With the ball maybe, but he's useless against the ball and that always shows against good teams nowadays (Bayern in the CL, Real today etc.).

Lewandowski is comfortably ahead of him atm.

Van Dijk (pre-injury at least) most impactful player for me

Right now it is probably Lewandowski given Neymar, Messi and De Bruyne haven't started the season in their best form and Ronaldo hasn't played a game in a few weeks.

If any of those played in this Bayern team instead of Lewa they'd probably in much better form though. Kimmich deserves a shout too, brilliant player who's had an incredible year

I don’t mean to over exaggerate but based on current form it has to be Tuanzebe.
