Can we not go down this road again? Or maybe move it to the "Fox News Thread"?

Re: actual election, can't wait for the damn thing to be over. Also baffled by the NYPD being so pro-Trump - that city is going to be like 90% democrat, bizarre that the police force will be the other.

You told Pogue he doesn’t understand science.
No. What I told him was how ironic it was that he berated others on understanding science while having spent an average of several hours a day (20 posts a day) for the last 16 years of his life on a football forum.

Your own quote of me confirms this.

Read into it what you will.

What’s there to be baffled about? PDs all over the country have been consistently pro Trump.

You are also talking about the PD who went on strike because they were required to wear bodycam, which blew up spectacularly on their face when crimes actually dropped during their absence.

What impact does spending time on a football forum have on understanding science? He wasn’t the one dying on a hill of ‘this anecdotal evidence I have totally prove that this totally not proven, not peer-reviewed treatment is the cure for the current global pandemic’

There’s no reading of that post that can escape the conclusion that you belittled his understanding of science.

They could be concerned about one thing - the maintenance of their bloated budgets / ability to earn overtime & the upper echelon directs those below it through this fear. Toss in some systemic racism / classism within the police force, you have shit like this.

It might take you untold amount of hours to craft such epic post owns as the ones unfortunately foist upon us in this thread, but for the rest of us, posts take mere seconds, maybe minutes, to craft.

Your posts tend to include a lot of absurdity in them.

Just ignore the troll. He’ll disappear with a whimper when Trump is toast in a week.

Yeah I guess, just figure a lot of those guys must be from the local community, so are surrounded by the polar opposite. Ah well, shouldn't impact the result.

The 538 guys estimating there could be over 150m votes - that's incredible given the pandemic. Amazing how much politics has become the major issue of our times.

Not every cop is like the following, but I would posit that a substantial portion are: those who go into the police force are looking to use that job to tap into their worst impulses, to be able to basically cosplay with no repercussions.

Don’t shoot the messenger. I see Hunter Biden trending on Twitter. I’m not discounting the possibility (yes, I actually used the word ‘possible’ and didn’t speak in absolutes) this could impact the election.

A Trump win is not a popular prospect on Redcafe. But it could happen nonetheless. No amount of cognitive dissonance by any of us is going to change that.

Like others have said, it's too little and too late to have a meaningful impact. What happened in 2016 was a federal investegation by the FBI - this is a bogus story by a well known rag. Twitter isn't a good metric either since it's full of bots and Trump crazies. Most people aren't active on Twitter.

We all know a Trump win *can* happen, the numbers don't lie though - his chances are fairly poor.

Trending on Twitter  a few thousand bot accounts copy pasting the same nonsense isn’t going to have any impact on the election at this point.

Omg how many hours do you spend on Twitter?

Hey, buddy. It's ok to admit and accept that you're not smarter than the experts. You don't have to get defensive about it and start talking about how you did your own independent research that blows the peer stuff out of the water, and then pretend that you're like that one guy in every Roland Emmerich film who proves the experts wrong when he says that the world will blow up in seventeen seconds. Except in this case we're talking about the earth being flat or something, it's difficult to keep track of the latest conspiracies due to all the toxic 5G in the air.

Just relax. I accept that I know bugger all about a lot of things and the amount of worry I've saved myself from, instead of frantically trying to get people to see the truth at realfactsandevidenceofstuff.com has freed me up to pursue more interesting hobbies. Like drinking bleach.

I don't think you got the meaning of cognitive dissonance right.

Trump can definitely win, particularly if he cheats and uses courts to take PA. But if he wins the popular vote I'll wire you 1000 bux to an account of your choosing.

He does not represent the will of the majority of Americans, he does not represent a cogent, savvy political operator and his only valuable trait is his disregard for norms and laws. Which is not something most would look for in an elected official, but sad, poor and exploited folks are still tuning into Fox News, so what are you going to do.

You tend to love & grasp onto your anecdotes, don’t you?

‘Trending on Twitter?’ My fecking god. I bet you went apeshit over ‘Boaters for Trump,’ didn’t you?

Here’s something else that is trending on Twitter:

‘I want my dad for my birthday.’ That’s fecking horrific.

I've just been on twitter and all I can see is that Trump is using a fake Melania as a campaign prop.

And this is after spending ages saying ‘zinc cures COVID because my friend got better’.
Hard to live that one down, and unfair to expect to be taken seriously after that .

Everyone screws up @Libano, but sometimes it's an indication you need to go back to the basics and reevaluate rather than double down.

By this batshit idiotic statement, how could Trump ever be elected president?
I bet he doesn't even know trump has been married three times which produced 3 vice presidents of his sham company, one of which he wants to feck, the other he wants to punch and the last one he thinks is a bit dim. Another who he didn't want beside him because she looked a bit fat and another who is odds on for some serious issues as he gets older. Four of them will probably be on the hook for his debt's also.
I doubt the poster even knows that Biden has lost a wife and young daughter to a car accident and another son through brain cancer. The cheek of his comment is astoundingly ignorant.

not to mention I would bet my house that Donny Jr. is shoveling some sort of shit up his nose.

Besides, everyone knows that raising 3 amoral greedy, sociopathic children is a problem that most normal families deal with, while have a child suffer drug addiction is a failing specific to Biden and definitely a sign that he was a horrible parent. It’s not like Hunter went through a horrific event in his childhood or anything.

The Hunter thing is possibly going to bury Biden. People are rightly stating that it’s not him running for office, but if your son ends up smoking crack and frequenting prostitutes, you have failed as a father in the eyes of many. If you can’t lead a family, how can you lead a country?

The drip feed of revelations is only going to get worse the coming days. Bannon and Giuliani have been sitting on this info since 2019 and are executing this in a way that hurts Biden the most.

What I don’t understand: The Dems must have known this as well since they have the necessary ties to the FBI. Why did they even nominate such a heavily compromised candidate?
If the FBI already had it then that sounds like a crime by Giuliani and Bannon.

Yes I can hear you Clem Fandango!
I doubt it will happen, but Texas turning blue will be the sweetest event of all.

I read that the early votes already cast make up over 70% of the total votes cast in 2016.

There are loads of Trumpers in NYC and the left coast, same as there are many liberals in the reddest of states. The US is quite heterogeneous.

neither will be decided on Election Day. I’d rather see him in Iowa and NC. Greenfield and Cunningham are far from sure bets.
Greenfield was on Lovett or Leave it (another crooked media podcast, hosted by Obama speechwriter John lovett) this weekend. She sounded really impressive and had an actual sense of humor. Hoping she takes out Ernst.

Not heard that one actually! Should add it to the driving list. Thanks. She *should* but there’s been a concerning tightening lately and I’m not quite sure why. Actually it’s happening in a few senate races (Though graham must be nervous now). Looking for high quality AZ and SC senate polls this week along with good presidential ones for FL.

hunter Biden thing is weird, people seem to be hearing about it in the Midwest, but if anything it’s scaring trump haters who may not love Biden into a bigger sense of urgency for voting. Releasing it on bannon affiliated media wasn’t the smartest...

He’s up in the average in GA, it has a lot more ECV than IA, plus the Senate seats, it makes sense for a stop or two.

They’ve probably given up on OH. TX is a pipe dream still.

Appreciate your consistency mate.
I call it how I see it. Trumps kid's are not allowed run a foundation in N.Y. because they stole from a kids cancer charity. Is that good parenting in your opinion?
