Those arching throws by Russell Wilson are one of the most beautiful things in all of sport.

My brother lives in Seattle and keeps telling me that Russ is a better QB than Mahomes. Still don’t think that’s the case, but goddamn if Wilson doesn’t have the best deep ball in football.

There’s negligible space between those two and Rodgers, in my opinion.

He’s not, but he’s the true “MVP” in the league.

Kyler‘s acceleration is incredible. He has sort of an odd running style; I don’t know if he’s just not swinging his arms like Raquel Welch in Seinfeld or something, but it doesn’t look like he’s running that fast until he makes defenders look silly.

Damn, that’s surely a TD. A great one at that. I was hoping for a 97 yard drive facing the Cards to take the lead.

Can’t believe I support a team in the same division as these 2 slippery bastards. I also can’t believe Wilson made it all the way to pick 75 in his draft cursing me to deal with this prick for a decade. Ah well

I thought surely Kliff had fluffed his lines slow playing the drive where they got the TD. The coin toss might decide this.

Why do these Cardinals-Seahawks SNF games always end in missed field goals in OT...

We deserved to lose that game. fecking hell, everyone other than Tyler Lockett shat the bed. I hate Mayowa so much, can't do shit as a pass rusher but can hand them a new set of downs on 4th and 12 by being an idiot.

Mayowa is dead to me, freaking stupid. That flag cost us the game, also as a defense we keep conceding so many yards and points is unbelievable. At this rate we need the Russel Wilson show in everysingle game to compete.

Seahawks deserved to lose that. Both times Cardinals intercepted Wilson they choked big time.

Seahawks manage to always do just enough, or rather Russell does, because the guy is a freakin monster, but every so often that runs out I guess. I’d say it reminds me of the cardiac arrest 49ers in the second half of last season (outside of the NFC north team games) but a better comparison is, well, the toots from last year too, won 11 games and a point difference of +7, insane. I don’t know where that team would be without Wilson, the clear MVP in the true sense.

NFC west is stacked.Dear lord. I think this result is worse for the 49ers in a sense because don’t think we’re winning the division anyway but can’t say I’m not glad Cards won.

Constantly at the STD clinic.
nfl has been so much more entertaining than the premier league this week. Brilliant game. Had edmunds on my fantasy team so was a great game for me.

Poor from Russ tonight. Shame that DK Metcalf play was all for naught. Penalties killed the Seahawks. #31 gotta block better too on that last series. Bobby Wagner looked old tonight.

As a Cards fan, I'm completely dead  what an insane game. I don't even know where to start. First off, way too many Seahawks fans in this forum, not sure why that is the case. Second, I am pleasantly shocked at the mental toughness that the team showed today on both sides of the football. I literally thought Russ was gonna put 50 on us, 377 yards in the first half alone! Lockett was having another one of his stupid crazy games against us. Then to get a great stop in OT, go down the field efficiently, miss a kick after a stupid near delay of game, then somehow intercept Russ for a 3rd time, go back down the field quickly yet again to finally finish with a FG...well you get the picture.

Seahawks only have themselves to blame today, Cards made so many mistakes in key moments before the 4th quarter, Russ and Co should have wrapped it up. Will say also, that is one of the weakest Hawks' D units in years. Kyler teabagged them most of the game. They didn't have Jamal Adams but Cards lost Chandler for the rest of the year so hardly seems like a good excuse frankly. AZ would have gotten 2-3 more sacks today had Chandler been healthy and the lack of ability to pressure with only 4 rushers killed the Cards, especially in the first half. Oh well, teams face each other in a month, hopefully Kenyan Drake and others who got injured today can return to action this season.

P.S. I see some folks comparing this game to the Browns and Bengals on twitter , some really stupid people on the East Coast, those teams wouldn't stand a chance in this division. The Steelers and Ravens would, of course but overall I do think the 4 NFC West teams on the whole are better than the 4 AFC North teams.

The 88-89 sides were abysmal. The 01-02 sides were also pretty bad.
If they were worse than this then I'm thankful its well before my time of watching NFL.

That's what happens when you pay Zeke and let Byron Jones walk.
The bigger crime is paying Jaylon Smith and letting Jones walk. He's really bad at football.

That's an absolute boneheaded play by Mayowa, fecking hell. Probably loses them the game.

Looks like their whole gameplan on defense was designed to simply stop DK though, with Peterson shadowing him and always having a safety nearby on his side. Of course Lockett is gonna feast if you put that much attention on Metcalf.

Always start Lockett. He's got an unbelievably high floor generally. Says me that got the 53 points in the Dynasty League...
I picked him up off waivers last week - now that is crazy. No use if I don’t play him though

What an unbelievable Sunday in the NFL . Niners bottom in the division 4-3 while Eagles are getting a home playoff game at 2-4-1 is so funny

I don't think it's that funny, the system is broken. The fact that an NFC West team probably has to travel to a sorry ass NFC East team in the WC round is a disgrace, the rules quickly need to change imo.

The bigger crime is paying Jaylon Smith and letting Jones walk. He's really bad at football.
All they had in 88 was Herschel Walker and two rookies: Irvin and Norton. The likes of Newton was a donut away from being cut and Gogan, Jones, Tuinei, Bates, etc. were struggling under terrible coaching. They had Steve Pelluer as the starting QB after Landry benched an aging Danny White. Steve Pelluer, you read that right.

By 89 Jimmy had arrived and molded them threw a hellacious training camp, cutting the likes of Randy White, Danny White, and a bunch of others who were out of shape. Jimmy once quipped that his 86-88 Hurricanes would have given these pros a challenge (back in the 80s that may have been possible with how out of shape and behind the times these Cowboys were). Jimmy also found four gems with his first four picks that draft: Aikman, Johnston, Stepnoski, and Tolbert. He technically found a fifth gem in 2nd rd pick Wiesnewski but traded his rights to the Raiders (which landed them a pick used on Johnston).

The 2001 and 02 sides had friggin' Quincy Carter and Chad Hutchinson experiments. They ruined the prime of a few studs like Coakley, Galloway, etc. and wasted Emmitt and Woody's final seasons with the club.

I was shocked when they gave Jaylon that big contract. Jones I understood - he was asking for $16-18M per year, at the top end of the CB pay scale. After giving Cooper and Lawrence those big deals, along with Jaylon and Zeke, Jones was the odd man out.

I think Cowboys have enough star players on the roster and so losing 1-2 shouldn't have this big an effect on the team. It's about getting a coaching staff who can get them all focussed and playing for the team.
