I only really read about the results now, but what the feck are they doing with that RETRIBUTION stable?

While it was a rehashed gimmick it could have provided some entertainment in the fan-less era, but they're already being booked as chumps.

I watched Beyond the Mat again the other night and when you compare the star power of even the mid card then to nowadays its embarrassing. While you had jobbers most of the mid card performers were treated like stars. Unless your name ends in Reigns or Rollins it seems WWE don't know how to utilise their talent.

So.. retribution lost

They’ll be dropped like a stone soon
Not only that, but Retribution were destroyed in the match. And then the Fiend destroyed them.
It was like they were being destroyed to be dropped of TV. (although Ali' promo was great but whats the point now)?

Also
-Keith Lee lost as well (this is their idea of pushing him?)
-Riddle lost too
Sure they arent the future, and are like 34/35. But they lost to even older guys

They broke up Peyton to put her in a tag with Lacy? Are they gonna do the whole we cant get a long stuff that they are doing with the tag champs?
Lana gets put through a table. Again.
And Mandy looks like shes trying her hardest to push Dana off her.

Tried to give Raw a chance, but The only good thing was Elias and El Gran Gordo.
And Drew is great too.

It really was a tough watch. Fiend and Alexa are great IMO, but they were just as great on smackdown. I still can’t get over how badly Retribution were booked last night. Christ.

Which part? cutting off before they fight (which makes no sense since they spent the whole of last week fighting for 3 hours and us being shown it) or them basically making a mockery of how the cell prevents people from entering it when its locked?

Im still laughing at Riddle too. Seriously, he acted like a cowardly scared heel which is bonkers.

And Keith Lee acted like a sore loser heel.

And both lost. Losers! And they are meant to be faces.

AEW had a full musical number with Jericho and MJF as 50s crooners complete with backing dancers and it was the best thing on wrestling TV this year.

Jim Cornette will have definitely put his foot through his TV during that segment.

The two of them had me at their steak orders... it was great.

It did make Jericho look & feel about 70 though.

I don't follow aew that much but have been following this mjf/y2j segments on youtube and it has been gold. Wrestling is more than kicks and flips and the sooner Wrestling writers realise that the better.

It was superb. In fact the whole show was great.
Good to see elements of the cleaner coming back. Shame it wasnt in front of a huge crowd, think that entrance would have been received much better.
Lucha brothers match was great too.

I did however find it funny how the commentators see a masked old guy helping out FTW and they have to pretend they dont know who it is.
YB vs FTW doesnt make sense. Theyve just turned YB heel, and finally putting these two teams against each other, and both are heels. But FTW are bigger heels now for the attack? (unless they call off the match for now and have YB out and delay it for a long time)

MJF can sing! I almost want him to do his own theme music. Something like Rob Conway’s old theme.

Felt sad for drew. He wasn't a bad champion but never got the title reign in front of fans. Hopefully he wins back the title in the future in front of fans.

So NXT ratings are dying

Otis they gave up on like they always were and lost the money in the bank. 10 years ago Miz had the briefcase with Orton as champion. We're where we were 10 years ago

Keith Lee, Ali with a faction, Riddle etc lost in the shuffle as epxected

Hopefully Drew's role isnt selling and losing to The Fiend and Orton from now on. Roman is doing great of course but he's not new

That's a bit steep... Its pretty much been consistent with where it's been at for months now. It has its core audience and it rises and falls basically in line with what AEW does week to week. (and both are "down" due to live sport and - mainly - election coverage)

Hasn’t AEW dropped its viewership about 50% since it debuted? Wonder if Ekeke thinks they are dying.

555k people watched the title match main event last week. 178k in the key demo of 18-49. I look into these things before I say them :wenger:

Its no wonder NXT werent in the draft and arent involved in Survivor Series despite winning it last week. So much for the 3rd main brand, now they're trying to pretend it doesnt exist

Mind you Smackdown did awful too so its not like Vince can pretend his brands do much better than Triple H's

First don't be a dick, there is literally zero need.

Secondly it was a tag title match, which is way below the men and women's titles in NxT.

Thirdly if you look at overall ratings they are comparable falls. (NxT actually fell by less this week compared to AEW... 1% vs 8%) You said the ratings are dying, they are clearly not.

Also Smackdown was on FS1, not Fox...hence the low ratings. And NxT is probably not involved in Survivor Series due to Covid /Social distancing more then anything... Considering the outbreaks they've had in the performance centre.

You have been shown that the rating was terrible for the main event of NXT, even lower than the ratings of the past. If you can't accept that its terrible thats on you nothing to do with me. Nothing I can say with reason will change your position which wasnt determined by reason in the first place.

You have been shown that the overall ratings are fine and are more of less in line with AEW drops. You have been shown the overall rating dropped less then AEW this week. Your reasoning is based on one rating for one segment, and yet you should also be aware that one bad rating for one segment does not equal "dying"... That is completely illogical (and you were the one who chose the word "dying")

NXT actually had a higher rating for Q1 then AEW did for Q1... So I can only assume it was alive at first and then died?

Where am I lying? Everything I've stated is factual.

Again you really don't need to be a dick, it's totally unnecessary.

You said its consistent with where its been. No its a new low. This is a waste of key strokes
No i said the overall rating is consistent. Which it is. The main event did a bad rating but one bad rating does not equal curtains for the whole show or that ratings on the whole are dying.

I disagree. When nobody watches your main event its obviously really bad. We can agree to disagree on that
