Thought his output at Sporting was ridiculously good and that couldn't be replicated with us. Boy was I wrong.

My stance with him is similar to with Ronaldo. If you're producing the goods week in week out in terms of stats as well as mentality and workrate, you deserve to be rated as one of the best.

I was definitely skeptical for a while but it's impossible to not be won over by him.

Bruno is brilliant. Simple as. That pass for Rashford's first goal. How many players in the world even see Rashford's run to hit the first time through ball? Man's a Portuguese magnifico.

I hope he gets to play in that role VdB played in today, he's just so good with the ball with our forwards making runs for him. Also allows him to be the gunslinger he wants to be without it costing us dearly as it might with him playing a deeper midfield role. The speed of thought is what stands out the most with him, because technically not everything he tries comes off. But it's obvious that he SEES everything, and is rarely late with a pass unlike many midfielders we have had in his position in recent years.

That freekick was brilliant as well.

That was a 10/10 cameo. Upstaged by Marcus but an incredible burst of brilliance by Bruno

He reminded me of Cantona when he came on the pitch. A combination of class and intensity, with a sprinkle of arrogance that he could hurt them. Truly world class!

He's just an all-action midfielder. From the time he was on, he was hungry to get on the ball, and his introduction, along with others, allowed us to keep possession of the ball better and ultimately allowed us to kill the game. His ball to Rashford was sublime. Great vision and weight of pass. Cracking little cameo from Bruno, and the best thing is, he'll be fresh for Arsenal.

Love it. Best part is that we don’t need to overly relay on him now with VdB in the team. We can rest him when needed, bring him on when we need to kill games off. We can always have him at his best.

He's doing literally what he was doint at Sporting. The extra weight of playing for Man United didn't affect him one bit. Just a shame my club didn't ever consider him when he was available. His boyhood club and all!

He's raised the level of what you expect from a #10. I thought Van de Beek was having a good game and was wondering if Bruno could settle into the game but he elevated us to a different level when he came on.

Was it just the one assist in the cameo?
Yes, only one for Bruno, because third goal was unassisted, fourth a penalty, and fifth assisted by Martial.

still, he made an assist for Cavani goal, but of course it was offside

The funny thing is his quality is quite inconsistent. But I guess his football brain is always there, so the contributions will flow naturally.

I thought van de beek was doing well enough and then this man came on.... He’s world class, there is no doubt about it.

how many times did he play in front of a crowd?

has Ighalo ever played at OT with a crowd?

it’s highly possible that Cavani never plays in front of fans at OT.
Ighalo came on as sub just before lockdown started, against City when we won 2-0. He actually played pretty well, held the ball up well leading to McTominay's goal.

Who cares what his passing stats look like when he can nail assists like tonight? Guy's insanely good for us.

that’s the problem with stats. What’s better a player with a 95% pass completion rate when they mostly pass sideways, or a player who has a pass completion rate of 70% who takes risks and makes things happen?

using our eyes is important, rather than just stat analysis.

Yeah I'm a big fan of fecking stats off to be honest. Some people only watch football through them.

Donny was tidier in possession and didn't really lose the ball but when Bruno came on it was different gravy. He was immense.

26 years worth of debt!
Our best signing since Ronaldo. What makes him great is he is such an intelligent player as well, has great leadership qualities, and very mature. An outstanding addition to our squad.

I feel as if he would be the best description of what you need to look for in a United player.
I would still rate RVP higher. Dragged us to a title.

Nevertheless, we have an absolute world class player.

15 goals and 11 assists from 33 games since he joined, yet there are still redcafe posters going "nOt wOrLd cLaSs". Bunch of pathetic fecks that call themselves supporters of the club.

He energized that midfield. Once he's in, it feels like we controlled the game and put Leipzig on back foot. I don't know how he did it, but it's just happened. Of course Rashford pace and dribbling was extremely helpful also.

Again, that Rashford - Bruno connection .

He's just incredible. That pass for our second is world class. Always thought his stats were skewed cause he was playing in Portugal, but he's doing the same thing in the PL and Europe. We looked so much better when he came on.

Agreed, he’s so positive and he takes chances but who cares we need players like that.

When he takes the ball, he just shines. There is an element of magic on some of these players that you just know it when you see it. Cantona had this, Ronaldo had this.
