    ---------------Rash-----------Green----------
    -------Pogba-----------------------Bruno-------
    ---------------McTom------Fred-------------
    Shaw-----Maguire-------Lindelof------AWB
    -------------------------DDG--------------------------

This looks like it's our best lineup at the moment, if Pogba keeps up his good form. If not then VdB.

Pogba and Bruno need to dominate the left, right and central advanced areas respectively.
Rash and Greenwood, dropping in the left and right areas and playing centrally.

    Maybe Cavani for Greenwood.

    Maybe Tuanzebe for Lindelof.

I think he'll go back to the Chelsea line-up and system, i.e. a 4-2-3-1 and swap Greenwood for James. (I won't be surprised if it's Tuanzebe for AWB or Williams for Shaw to give them a break but Ole may decide to rest them in Istanbul instead.)

    DDG
    AWB Lindelof Maguire Shaw
    McTominay Fred
    Mata Bruno Rashford
    Greenwood

Should be tight as Arsenal will park the bus and try to counter, so we'll need Pogba / Cavani / VdB as options from the bench.
McFred will be key to protect us against the Arsenal counters. Hopefully we are doing ok and can take Fred off earlier for Matic, to give the man a rest as much as he may feel he doesn't need it!

    I'd set up like this

    De Gea
    AWB Tuanzebe Lindelof Shaw
    Fred
    McT Pogba
    Bruno
    Mason Marcus

I'd have this but Maguire in for Tuanzebe. I really like the diamond, and it helps a lot that we have the players on the bench for the diamond too (very few quality wingers on the bench). It will also help a lot to have McT on the right side to help with dealing with Aubameyang.

These guys have two fit CBs......Gabriel & Mustafi.
    We have to attack them.

However, we have to be wary of the fact that Arsenal will want us to attack them. They struggle if a team plays it safer.

I think Arteta will be looking to get at our defence with pace as soon as Arsenal wins the ball, whether by sitting and picking his moments to counter or by battling us in midfield to win the ball high up. I've gone with Axel instead of Harry to keep an eye on Aubameyang and co. McT would battle in midfield and support AWB if they play with wingbacks.

Spot on with the formation and midfield but no way Ole drops Maguire for this. I have a feeling we'll be utilizing the diamond formation a lot this year where our strength is midfield and now that we have 4 players in Rashford, Martial, Mason and Cavani who could play up top.

I don’t know why I said Maguire for Tuanzebe, I meant to say Maguire with Tuanzebe. You are right his pace is needed.

They are an extremely dirty team. We need a strong ref who won't put up with their bullshit.

I seriously hope Ole has a plan for the 5 at the back because Arsenal are coming to do what Chelsea did and defend defend defend and look to pinch one on the break if they can do.

We have looked at our poorest under Ole when teams set up to frustrate us. We badly need to find an answer to it. An early goal for us obviously would help massively as if Arsenal then had to attack us I think we could murder them.

If we start an energetic team that can also play good football which we are totally capable of, this game won’t even be a contest. Something tells me Ole won’t feck it up like he did against Chelsea.

Playing with 10 men plus James doesn’t help , I think Ole has this figured out

James might still start Sunday. We could easily go back to the team that started vs Chelsea. I hope he doesn't and we see something more in line with Leipzig but you just never know.

This but with Cavani instead of Mason. Rashford just showed what difference some young fresh legs can do to the opposition in the second half.

Almost...Still a toss up between Greenwood or Cavani and Matic or McTominay. I may also start VdB over Pogba but I doubt that will happen...
Vdb needs more match time and played well against rb
He could easily function alongside Bruno who’ll start this one for sure.

Honestly I haven't watched much of Arsenal this season but I'm hearing Arteta is using "negative" tactics, meaning defensively? If so, I can see us struggling tbh, with Arsenal hitting us on the break.

Ideally we would get a goal early to force them to push higher so we can play to our strength, counter-attacking. But no doubt it's going to be tough.

There are no excuses now. I'm the most patient fan in the forum, but winning against Arsenal is the only option. No draw, obviously not a loss.

There are no reason why we cannot beat the miserable Arsenal.

Arsenal are absolutely shit this season but they do look more solid. We need to make sure we score first otherwise could be a long day.

Think the Leipzig game hinted at Rashford-Cavani starting for Arsenal.

    You gotta continue playing 4-2-2-2.
Line up for this one shouldnt be hard to put together, nice and predictable and sometimes thats good.

    DDG
    AWB Maguire Lindelof Shaw
    Fred McT
    Bruno Pogba
    Rashford Greenwood

We gotta make 4-2-2-2 our go to from now on.
