Really don't get those that transferred in Saiss. Today's game marks the end of their good fixture run. From next week they play:

LEI, SOU, ARS, LIV, AVL, CHE, BUR, TOT, MUN.

At 5.3m with all the questions over his place in the team, it wasn't a transfer to make.

Following this week - there will be a massive influx of people taking out Saiss and inputting Kilman.

Feels like you have double bad luck. Castagne out then getting Saiss and then another one. Two transfers wasted when you could have just stuck with Castagne if not for the injury.
:(
Quite happy about Saiss as I forgot to take out Rodriguez and didn't want the double Wolves defence. Hopefully Maupay can score after or before he cries against Spurs.

I will not rule out Saiss getting his spot back. Although with fixtures getting worse it is probably better to go Kilman and use the money in midfield.
Sadly Kilman is getting expensive already. At 4.3 he might not be worth it over 4.5 defenders with better fixtures.

What a moronic decision to get Steer as the second keeper. I really want Konsa and I already have Grealish and Martinez. The thought of the 3 players per team never crossed my mind when making that sub.
Since you already have Martinez and can't get Konsa, a Palace defender might be worth looking at, even though stats aren't looking good. They face Leeds, Burnley, Newcastle and West Brom in next four. You could then switch to Leeds from there.

Wow Podence actually does something for a change. Slim chance a bandwagon gets going on him? Plans to ship him out after this week hopefully he gets a raise.

That went bang ideal.
Jiminez and Zaha blank.
Kilman cleanie, Saiss doesn't play.

Payback for Saiss's cleanie and Kilman conceding late last week

Don't think I want to be patient with Jimi any more. Might have to get rid and spend the money more wisely.

Saiss needs to go too. I have no defenders to come on for saiss so I have 10 men. Disappointed.

Thinking to transfer out Jimenez or TAA but not sure which one and to who. Any suggestions? Leaning towards getting rid of TAA.

I thought Wolves looked bloody good in the first half. Although turned more defensive in the second half and got lucky not to concede.
They never go for the big win which is annoying if you own attackers from them.

So glad Podence finally returned the faith. He was the one who was going to be cut if I did a proper transfer this week.

I think Saiss may need to go this week. Wolves fixtures turning and the uncertainty around their backline means it might just be sensible to cash in on him. I’d like Kilman, but not sure it is the best move currently. Hoping for a Liverpool clean sheet this week or suddenly multiple defenders have real uncertainty.

With both Mitchell and Saiss not playing already. I’m only one more no show away from Stephens to Riedewald looking sensible!

I started Saiss and have Kilman as first sub so that's good for me. Also have Jiminez too who blanked so not so good there.

The Saiss situation is a real dilemma. He's better than Kilman in theory, so should regain his place - but then again his fixtures are bad, so the easy solution is to just swap him for someone like Zouma, Cresswell or someone similar if you have him.

I got Kilman. At 4.1 I guess I can live with it, if he doesn't play again.

Edit: And it's so strange to see Wolves in a joint #1 place. They've been mediocre and struggling a bit with attacking output.

Ok so I'm definitely going to do Saiss to Kilman. If Kilman doesn't play, no big deal, he's cheap and I have cover. Saiss not being certain starter is a more costly sub.

Question is do I do it now or wait a week?

I want to avoid price changes but doing a transfer this early can screw me later...

Hmm I'd wait and see if Kilman also starts next week. Cresswell? (Sheff, Fulham, Villa)

I'm really not convinced he is. Kilman hasn't put a foot wrong any game I've seen. Looks a talent. Think there was a wolves fan on here that said Doherty and Saiss were the 2 players from last season that could be easily upgraded, don't think he rated him particularly highly either

I'd be wary of price rises. He's 4.2 now and he's going to go up at least once this week, you'd think. At a certain point he's no longer cheap enough for the "it doesn't matter if he plays" reasoning to hold given there are definite starters with better fixtures at 4.5.

If I move up to 4.5 I can't do my following planned transfer (Rodriguez to Rashy).

Also here's currently 4.2 maybe I'll just take the plunge tonight.

He’s started the last four
Hmm.. If memory serves me correctly, 3 of them was due to Marcal injury, which shifted Saiss out to left wing-back, which seems to be a puzzle to Nuno this year.

Before the 4 game-run, Saiss started at Kilman's place.

So Now Wolves got a new left back in Ait Nouri too, who scored and got 3 bonus points. Do you think Kilman's place is still safe?

I just took a -8 to take James Rodrigues and grealish out for Rashford and Jorginho. Hopefully Rash can keep going!
You took -8 to take out a guy that had 2G3A vs. Liverpool and two mega chances in his last game? Grealish is a better bet than Rashford this weekend.... home to Soton and he’s in great form. But that’s all on paper of course.... good luck.

I've rage transferred Saiss to Kilman

I think the season started with Saiss ahead of him but since he's come in, maybe he's claimed the spot. Or that's what I'll tell myself until Saiss starts next week!

But as I said, he'll most likely be my third sub to allow other transfers I got planned.

I've never had my third sub come in on my 6+ years playing this game.

thought rashford was worth the punt even though our game is hard and downgrading to Jorginho gives me some money in the bank for my next move.

Wow that looks like a massive overkill in defence. How does your attack and midfield look like with this much firepower at the back?
Very few clean sheets this season so far, not sure I'll ever go with more then the minimum 3 defenders, let alone 5 high budget ones.
On the other hand I'm having an atrocious starts so far so what do I know.
Salah Bruno Son Rodriguez Grealish
DCL Maupay Brewster

I will swap Maupay for someone soon. Brewster is third player on the bench. Cresswell, Chilwell and Robertson all take corners and some free kicks, Chilwell and Robertson play like wingers and so does Cresswell when he’s on the left. I am basically treating them like wingers with extra points for occasional clean sheets. Coady is there for easy home games clean sheets, Bellerin will get some CS as well as Arsenal’s defense is good this year.

I am aware my team is too deep right now but I have built it with using bench boost soon on my mind. Also it’s not like my midfield is terrible because of it, and DCL up front is great as well. I’d like Kane but too many downgrades needed to get him at this point.

I will play 5 in midfield pretty much every single week bar injuries so it’s just about picking those right 3-4 players in defense and 1-2 in attack.

Good start with Coady. I like that I know what I get with him, if Wolves are home to a weaker team then he’s a decent chance for those 6 points.

Agree. Getting rid of Grealish makes zero sense to me at all, let alone as part of a -8. Now is a time to be bringing him in imo, not ditching.

Overmanagement is a thing.

"Safe" would be a strong word given Saiss is still providing direct competition.

But since coming in Kilman has been better than Saiss (who many Wolves fans wanted dropped from CB anyway) and they have looked strong defensively. Nuno isn't a manager who rotates a lot, particularly in defence, so you would think Kilman will be left where he is when it's working. The Athletic journalist who covers Wolves was also saying he'd definitely keep his place prior to this game. So it would seem to be Kilman's place to lose.

My tactic this year is to not use points. I feel it’s working.

Kilman played in the back three last night with Ait Nouri and Semedo the wing backs. Of course, Saiss can also play in the back three. There’s always going to be a risk with a young player like Kilman, he needs to keep playing well to keep his place.

Would people do Saiss + Pulisic + Brewster out for Creswell + Zaha + Bamford in? Gives me a bit more flexibility.
