Wolves Palace getting loads of love here.

1-0 Wolves. One of their young signings from the summer scores on his debut.

Full backs scoring already in their debuts. Wonder what that feels like :(

Podence is really good, his general play is quite polished. Deserved his goal too.

Red Card for Casemiro!
Wolves have been the better team and deserve their lead. That's two very good saves from long range that they have forced, and that would have been spectacular from Dendoncker of it had cannoned back in off the cross bar instead of being an inch higher.

Dropping Saiss for a proper wingback was the right move.

Wolves switch play from flank to flank so often and stretch it wide. They transition back very quickly to a narrow defense the moment they lose possession.

Clyne was between 2 yellow shirts in his own box for that second goal. Everyone lost their man. In contrast, Zaha is being crowded out whenever he gets the ball.

How is Zaha not sent off there?!
Because Nouri did not fall on the ground and roll and say he needs an eye operation.
Referees always want to see fall and roll, which is why many players oblige

Has he been dropped or is Nuno just rotating ? They both have their pros and cons

Fancied West Ham to get something from the Liverpool game but then read Antonio is out, seriously how’s Liverpool’s luck that even when they have injuries the opposition are missing their best players themselves

I'm not sure Saiss would have even been playing there in the first place had Marcal not got injured. And even at CB there seemed to be a lot of Wolves fans who wanted Saiss benched.

Nuno isn't generally a manager who rotates his defence either.

But maybe, I'm only a casual observer so I could easily be wrong.

Yeah saiss stood in for marcal as he was injured and did well but it’s not his natural position. Nuno doesn’t really rotate unless he has too

If Foden is still a back up within a year or 2 he really ought to consider leaving them. Has all the talent in the world. Injury hit team & he still can’t get in.

Fortunately Aguero isn’t playing. He would’ve put these chances away.

My doubts about Brewster going to Sheffield United are proving me right, can’t see him getting many chances to score goals in this team.
