Been a tough week for British legends alright.
Still, Sean Connery dead at 90, while sad, you can focus on the long and wonderful career he had, for some positivity out of this shittest of years.
Obit on the beeb website.

Here this guy talks about him moving like a panther. Sounds awesome tbf but not sure I know what that looks like for a person.
I heard that line 1st on The Trip when Rob Brydon was quoting Cubby Broccoli, iirc.

90 is some age, it never crossed my mind that he is that old as he had such persona about him... Glorious actor, wonderful career. RIP.

Is he really Scottish? He had surprisingly dark features for a Scotsman.
Looks pretty Scottish to me?! I know the rest of the world thinks we're all broad shouldered ginger haired, pale white and freckled cretins that wear kilts so there's enough hanging space for our above average sized willies but I assure you that all of that is wrong...

Huh? You’ll have to explain that one
The short version of the theory is that in the mid 1960s, famed British secret agent James Bond was caught spying in the United States, and locked up in infamous island prison Alcatraz (aka The Rock) on espionage charges. He has no identity, not in the United States or Great Britain. He does not exist. (James Bond is allegedly a code name). This timeframe also matches up with Connery first donning the Bond tuxedo for ‘Dr. No’ in 1962.

For the longer version, give it a read. https://fantheories.fandom.com/wiki/The_Rock

Entrapment is an underrated classic.

As much for Zeta-Jones’ in tight outfits as anything else but still a classic.

Chelsea (the saviours of football) fan.
Icon with a ton of charisma. Probably my favourite Bond.

Bit of a naff actor though, let's be real. Played a Soviet submarine captain? Scottish accent. Indiana Jones American dad? Scottish accent. King Richard? Scottish accent. It's so ridiculous that I actually admire him for basically not ever being arsed.

Heartbroken. I watched "The Rock" for the first time yesterday.
I watch that at least once a year in my Nic Cage trilogy marathons (the other two being Con Air and Face/Off).

Great actor was SC, at least at 90, he had some good innings.
