Gerrard scored 120 goals and got 92 assists. Nuts to compare them.

Pogba is just an overhyped crap player. Top players can play in any system, he can’t. He’s a central midfielder but you can’t give him defensive duties because he’s lazy and when he does track back he can’t tackle. So that suggests he an attacking midfielder. How many goals and assists does he get?
He has never looked a £90m player for us and it’s no coincidence he looked good for a dominant Juventus team playing alongside the true world class player in Pirlo. We should have cut our losses with him a long time ago. Bruno contributes far more in CAM and our other players can play the defensive midfield role. Van De Beek is a proper CM as well.

Ha fecking hell. I hate Gerrard, and I actually had a good opinion of Pogba (it’s dropping rapidly) pre this season, but the the thread might as well be locked, it’s a joke.

I agree with the perspective of Solskjaer struggling to accommodate him more than anything else. The reason Pogba is however unlike Gerrard is that he's excelled everywhere aside us. I think it speaks more about the managers we have had here.
Solskjaer has quite easily got the best form out of Pogba and he was world class but you compare him positionally to where Solskjaer has developed him over time and its like comparing Ozil (Madrid) to Essien (Chelsea). The only element I'd question with Pogba would be his on field attitude but performance wise its near impossible to criticise him and NOT include the manager in the same sentence. A story of drastic misuse.
