He was fantastic against Leipzig.Have we ever had a worst footballer than Fred?
It defies belief he gets paid to do this.

Because we put out a different midfield. So we didn't look lethargic, off the pace and second-best in stark contrast to our performance against RB?
You can have thousands of good men. If your officer sucks it's useless.Tweet

is there one single united fan who doesn't know this ? Another reason is we have either the worst or at best the 2nd worst manager in the division.Utterly depressing this lack of consistency, and Liverpool back to the top of the table.
Woodward and the glazers are the root cause of this. Imagine having Partey and sancho in our side today. Partey, a reasonable release clause.
Yes that's right. You seem to have understood perfectlyWe were shite, Arsenal were better yet they only had one more shot than us and that was the penalty.
Then we shouldn’t have started in a diamond, simple as.Two players, AWB and Shaw killed us in this game. How an earth are United, team that wants to be a top team with those two as their starters??? In a diamond system you can't have two defensive fullbacks.
Hear hear! Finally somebody says it. People need to be clued up on how important management is.I'm tired of this argument.
Please name a player in the last 5 years that after we've purchased them from another club have gotten better?
We've seen how Sancho looks when he's playing under a clueless manager in Southgate, why should we expect anything different here?
I agree, to an extent. The selection, tactics and subs today were poor from Ole. But if we had sancho, we at least would have been able to play with width and cover for the loss of martial.I'm tired of this argument.

7 minutes after Fred went off we conceded. They paid 50m for Fred, gave Matic a longer contract, think McTominay is the next United great.
This1 step forward, 2 steps back. Rinse. Repeat. Total cr*p performance.
But they weren't good men. You don't need an officer to tell you to fight for your mates. You can have thousands of good men. If your officer sucks it's useless.
I was referring to us not being sensible and getting Partey not this game in particular. Also again we struggle against the low block and every man and his dog knows it.7 minutes after Fred went off we conceded.
None of our attacking players(pogba, Bruno, greenwood, rashford) did anything for nearly the whole game.
Arsenal aren't very good. If we showed up at all we would have beaten them.I’m still confused by this game.
We were shite, Arsenal were better yet they only had one more shot than us and that was the penalty.
We played the diamond against Leipzig with Matic at the base and Fred box to box. He brings in Mctominay for Matic but then does the inexplicable by switching Fred to the base and Mctominay as box to box - that’s two changes to accommodate one player.Fuming. A game that 30 mins in and its glaringly obvious that what we are trying to do isn’t working.
OGS doesn’t make suitable changes at half time. Still, after a further 25 mins of tumescent football no progressive changes are made.
It took him at least 15 mins of second half to decide Matic for Fred!....Really
Restored to Matic diving for a penalty, Maguire diving for a penalty. Seriously. It’s pathetic.
Arsenal with Elneny in midfield dominated us in the middle of the park. Elneny.
Fred, Matic, McTominay aren’t good enough if we’re honest. Sure they can press and destroy but utterly clueless with the ball at their feet. Not helped by Pogba being woeful, Bruno being woeful.
And when we’re chasing a goal, he takes Greenwood off.
Surely a front 3 of Rashford, Cavani, Greenwood would have been a better option.
I’m not OGS out. Far from it. I think he’s building a decent squad and his man management appears to be fine. He really struggles with in game management. Like he has a plan (including subs) and regardless of how the game plays out he sticks to that plan
I'm not saying the manager put out the right team or got his tactics right but does that excuse the absolute lack of desire or energy and all the misplaced passes?Because we put out a different midfield.
Then the manager makes sure they show up, reminds them what this game means in our club history. Trouble is it is no longer a fighting for the title rivalry. It is a mid table rivalry.Arsenal aren't very good. If we showed up at all we would have beaten them.
There really isn't much to click.Still think we’re winning the league. Long way to go and when it clicks it will CLICK. My word.
Well yes. It does. If you put McT in the team instead of VDB then your midfield diamond positioning and passing will go to crap. And then the high press destroys you and the heads go down.I'm not saying the manager put out the right team or got his tactics right but does that excuse the absolute lack of desire or energy and all the misplaced passes?
The lad can press. Genuinely.Yeah, plenty. Including at least two players who are the same nationality and played the same position. So it’s not exactly a difficult question to answer.
He’s had a bunch of excellent games, this season and last. Far better than anything Kleberson ever produced. His problem (like most of this poxy team) is his capacity to follow up an excellent game by playing like absolute dog shit in his next run out.The lad can press. Genuinely.
He is appealing in all other functions. Id take Kleberson all day. And he was shit.
We were off it from the start though.Well yes. It does. If you put McT in the team instead of VDB then your midfield diamond positioning and passing will go to crap. And then the high press destroys you and the heads go down.
Expand that to how many Premier League sides would even have him in their first eleven? Maybe a handful at best. Why Ole played Mctominay for 90 minutes baffles the mind. I know a lot of fans like Mctominay but he is bang average - how many sides in the 6 will have him in their first 11?
Same with Chelsea game really. Missed opportunities.Arsenal aren't very good. If we showed up at all we would have beaten them.
The feck you on about? Either an overreaction or absolutely clueless - Fred has been one of our more solid players in an admittedly inconsistent/shambolic couple of seasons for the whole teamHave we ever had a worst footballer than Fred?
It defies belief he gets paid to do this.
He is not a regular starting midfielder for a top four side as he doesn't specialise in any particular position. If he's a utility man in to do odd jobs here and there across a long season I have no problem with that, or maybe he could drop into a back three like he has for Scotland, but he can't be trusted to deliver the goods b2b nor sitting on a consistent basis.Expand that to how many Premier League sides would even have him in their first eleven? Maybe a handful at best.
He's another one of those who doesn't really have any talent or quality on the ball but works really hard and is a United product so best stick with him because feel good sentimentalism is a better way to pick a team than looking objectively at ability.
Go support City then? You’ll regret it. Ole’s at the wheel. There really isn't much to click.
No we will keep supporting United. You keep supporting OGS and the feckin wheel.Go support City then? You’ll regret it. Ole’s at the wheel.
No we will keep supporting United. You keep supporting OGS and the feckin wheel.
Trouble with Ole's wheel is someone appears to have put a spanner in the spokes.
What's your logic here?Go support City then? You’ll regret it. Ole’s at the wheel.
On the WUM.What's your logic here?
wow.Feck me. That’s the third Arsenal game I’ve watched this season. And every one of them has been an insult to the sport of football. Surely the most negative, shit to watch team in the league?
We were fecking useless, mind you but still...
