At least until the end of the year, likely for good.

Sense prevailed. Although Brucey was right, if it was something like a fiver, it wouldn't be terrible. Easier to pick and choose, than deal with those 2-3 subscriptions to get the games you want.

Ha. Good to see this disaster of an idea running away with its tail between its legs. Hope it never emerges again.

I hope they bring it back and do it properly. ie. reasonable price, and don’t pick games that otherwise would have been on Sky or BT. I’d love a way to watch our Saturday 3pm games though.

Glad it's fallen flat on it's arse for the greedy feckers. Why not just drop the price to something fair, crazy asking for fifteen quid a pop.

Same, if it was around £5.00 per game I could get behind that because I HATE having to try and stream games.

It was never going to work when they took away what people were getting for free beforehand. In a normal season at a lower price it would probably be a success.

So are we getting these matches for free or not at all now?

Gotta feel sorry for the Burnley/whoever else fans who had all their games on PPV during these weeks.

How wrong can they be? Now they completely take it away instead of charging a fiver? Sigh.

No. No no no. Subscription fees are already paid, on platforms that ALSO profit from ads. Enough is enough.

My Sky subscription doesn’t get me the 3pm Saturday games, so no it’s not enough. I’m otherwise going to get an illegal stream, and I’d rather pay for something quality. If it wouldn’t have been on TV anyway I don’t see the problem at all. It’s nearly 2021, we should be able to watch whatever game we want by now.

The annoyance is that with this being handled so terribly it’s put a massive halt on a subscription service like NBA Gametime.

£15 per game was unbelievably greedy, cord cutters generally do so because they can’t watch all their teams games not because they enjoy streaming.

A reliable service like other major sports have should have been here years ago!

UK, hun?
Did they actually think £15 was a reasonable price? Or are they just completely clueless about how much dosh the average football shmuck has?

The startling thing is, there’d have been discussion about the pricing between the clubs & £14.95 was eventually seen as a reasonable price; which means some idiots would have been looking to price it higher.

Ha.

I’d be demanding it was included rather than demanding to be charged less though.

Yep, they must have been barmy to think they'd get away with doing it 1) after it being free, and 2) at such a whopping fee!

Presumably this does meant they'll distribute the 5 games back around Sky and BT again. If so, brilliant - those packages give extra value again!

Paying for Sky Sports really felt worth it when they were showing pretty much every PL game after the restart.

Let's hope that's the "Model" they go with. Seems likely as this sheer greed has almost unanimously been panned by all.
