That doesn't devalue what they are at all, I still buy all the new consoles as I'm a gamer and I only really care about being entertained by them. Difference is, I don't give a shit about kids arguing about things they know nothing about on trash places like Youtube comments

Just buy some cheap crap for a quid each. It will look good to the computer who picks it up. Just boost up how many items you buy off them and keep the returns minimal.

The returns happened with the cpus. fecking you know yourself the 10600k performance was brilliant for gaming but then I thought about exta 2 cores and price and then whin decided against it, 10850 came out. fecking intel. I'll do what you have suggested though.

Maybe Black Friday but I wouldn’t hold your breath. I tried to get one on the 10th when more stock was made available and despite being ready bang on 8am I faced nothing but problems. Websites crashing, adding it to basket but never actually going into the basket and then eventually getting to checkout before being hit with the out of stock message again. It’s an absolute nightmare, comes down to pure luck and how fast your fingers are, doesn’t help all the fecking scumbags using bots to instantly hoover up all the stock just to sell them on eBay for a £1000+ later on.
Interesting. I was flying on wz last night. Felt way more confident than when I was at 30 without 4k and with pony graphics. No idea if I’m stuck at 60 because my tv doesn’t support 120hz though. I’d rather have the option, because a lot of people are saying even though their monitor only supports 60, it still plays better at 100+
Higher fps will always feel lots better, no matter the monitor/tv you use.

My copy of Cold War arrived today and guess what? You can't play the campaign offline. Why? Well, because there is NOTHING on the disc. It's just a licence. So, this means the game needs a 130gb 'update'. So, it's downloading the whole game!
To rub salt in the wounds, I've only just remembered that Xbox now allows you to pre load any game even if you intend to buy it on disc. I could have had this downloaded days ago.

Hasn't Warzone always been 60fps on console? Or at least tried to be. I tried it at 120fps today and you're not missing much! It felt the same as 60fps to me.

Yes, but in this case, I'm still allowed to buy the disc. This feature is needed. Anytime I pop a disc in it has a massive update.
Oh, I'm sure on Xbox One the framerate was all over the place.
Were you on One X or One / S before?
Often the base One and the One S would be at 30-40 frames so the Series X will lock at 60 even if you can't go higher and is miles smoother I agree. The high res textures and higher res output generally make a big difference. Miles better.
I was on the og One. Yeah, the clarity helps loads too.
There is a big jump in smoothness between 60 and 120 fps imo.
What games have you tested this on? Waiting on my new dell monitor to arrive which will display 120@1440p so looking for good games to test it on.
I played mw at 1440p on my pc at 120fps. Had much smoother experience than 4k 60 on the same TV. Using 120hz Oled by the way.
Why are digital games so much more expensive than physical disc versions. You can buy them £15 cheaper. Never understood that.
I don't really know what you're on about. Do you mean the free stuff like Disney+? All I know is buying a game on the store is a breeze. Maybe getting gamepass that 1 time if using a code, or buying a 360 game isn't the most optimal but generally, buying an Xbox One or Series game is easy.
The store generally is strong now. And if these are the main complaints about the UI and why it is so rubbish, then it's doing a pretty good job I think.
I think you have to have an outlook email linked to all accounts these days. Dummy accounts work, or like you said, just turn notifications off (or a rule for emails from Xbox).
On backwards compatibility, if I load a 360 game it just signs my gamertag in on the 360 and syncs cloud saves with it. I don't have to add a new profile every single time no.
If it's just the downloading of the profile, it should just be the first time you load that 360 game (and should take seconds). When you next boot the game, you should just get a really quick cloud save sync.
