No City or Leicester makes it so difficult to pick a captain.

Bruno v SOU, Salah v BRI or DCL v LEE?

Hmm who to captain - Salah seems safest but I think Leicester will most likely keep a clean sheet vs Fulham so I like the idea of Justin too
You are taking a big risk captaining a full back. You can see your clean sheet shattered at any point and look at a 4 point cap.
Whereas an attacker is alive at any point.

Sticking with DCL as my captain for the next two weeks as Everton play Leeds, then Burnley.

Digne injured might neuter their attack a bit. Torn between DCL and Fernandes, but swaying the latter.

Is it worth taking a -4 to bring in KDB in place of Son? I've taken a -4 only once this year and dont want to lose points willy nilly. But I fear KDB can go on a rampage against Burnley and Chelsea nad Spurs will probably be a close affair...

Somehow I fluked my way into second place of the Caf league, but I reckon my team will suffer this week for having no Vardy nor any Citeh players.

City got pretty poor form. I am not sure. I feel like waiting for De Bruyne to produce before I get him.
Although being too late to get him would cost a lot too.

Vardy VS Bruno for captaincy? Vardy seems obvious but the cap is much lower than Bruno.
One kick from him and it can easily be a 20 pointer.

This will be a tricky week. Don't have proper captain choice. Might regret taking out salah now.
Yeah bringing in and captaining Fernandes hugely paid off for me last week, but can't help but feel I'll be scrabbling round to fit him back in very soon.

I'm completely torn... should I transfer out Kane for Vardy for a minus 4?? I don't have KDB or Salah so I'd probably captain Vardy or Fernandes.

Selection headache time. My squad

Martinez Nyland
Chilwell Cresswell Bellerin Vestergaard Dias
Salah Son Grealish Ziyech Jota
DCL Werner Adams

Nailed for this week:
Martinez
Bellerin Dias
Salah Ziyech Jota
DCL Werner

Thinking about putting Chilwell, Son and Grealish to compliment. But then against Adams may get something against us comfortably and Cresswell has been so consistent...

For KDB or Salah
Hhhmmmmmm............I don’t have Som because I took him out at the start of Spurs’ ‘difficult’ run.

I think I was wrong to that.

Replacing him for KdB who is underperforming in a disjointed, underperforming city side or a Salah who is recovering from COVID is risky IMO.

This is exactly why i only have complete dreglings on my bench now.

Good luck picking the right players from that lot.

I mean you can just back United and bench Adams and Vestergard for starters.

Having a mad last hour or so reading fantasy footy scout!

I need to ship TAA and I need to bring De Bruyne in.

TAA and Son to De Bruyne and a Man City defender makes sense.
But which City defender? Cancelo now looks risky with Mendy back and Zinchenko both alternatives at left back and fantasy footy scout have Zinchenko to start. Dias is also 5.5m but played midweek. Laporte 6m and Walker 6.1m are certs to play but at extra cost.
5.5m would allow me enough to do De Bruyne to Salah in a couple of weeks if needs be. 6m leaves it dependent on Salah improbably not going up in value. And 6.1m Walker won't work.
Dias won't get bonus or goals the latter two have a small chance.
I'd lose 0.3m on Son.

Also looked at Ziyech to De Bruyne and then the Man City defender switch. That'd allow whichever choice and the Salah exchange later.
I can see Tottenham not getting much at Chelsea though and Ziyech showed he could be a hauler a couple of games back - and you feel you do need Chelsea coverage. Whilst I'd still have Kane for Spurs.

Thoughts?

It's that risk element isn't it.
Salah or De Bruyne could smash it big. And are both nailed on captain choices.

Son may do something at Chelsea but he's not a strong captain.
And Bruno is good away from home but not as nailed a captain choice I don't think.

Hmmm difficult.

My worry with Dias is he's not going to get any "extras" like Cancelo or even Walker might.
But that extra wad is handy.
Played 90 midweek though and apparently Ake is back. I suppose Stones also played midweek so wouldn't be a threat. So it "should" be Laporte and Dias?

Jota in for a hit. Doesn't feel totally good about this. Keeping Zaha might have worked better, but I had minimal bench.

If I just get tomorrow and Fulham I am fairly happy with it.

Hopefully they go full attack vs the weaker teams and plays him.

I have. And Cresswell with them. I intend to transfer McCarthy in next week, play bench boost with almost entire team having green fixtures (or gray at worst, except for Bellerin) and then make my squad shorter. I have been building for bench boost for the last 4 weeks.

De Bruyne (c) and Dias in then.
Weighed up not doing it but that Fulham fixture next week seals it.

Not sure why anyone would take Son out
Fixture over form. It's the gamblers way.

Form is hindsight.
Fixture is prediction.

Man city can go on a rampage against Burnley and Fulham.

I doubt Son will get more than a a handful of points against Chelsea and Arsenal

Cancelo more likely to be rotated I'd have thought. Zinchenko or Mendy could easily start the odd game.

Dias I think is more nailed.

That's what I'm relying on!
Even Pep can surely see he's finally got a quality centre back combo and to stick with them for the league games!

Kiss of death if you haven’t got Son in your team. I know what you’re saying though

I understand you, but City are not the same this year. Spurs on fire though.
I might make the move next week without a hit though. Could be a bit too late, but at least if KDB scores well I know I want him for Fulham.
