    4231 ASAP!!!!!

Bring Cavani on for matic on 60th if we haven’t scored.

We do that Southampton will drop back, we need to insert some fear.

We get one and it’s ok like donkey Kong.

    Lets believe a little lads.

    We've done nothing this game.

We need to go back to 4-2-3-1 with Cavani up top, take Greenwood off. Doesn't seem to be at the races today
    We missed 2 open goals

This is not a shambles mate. Have you seen the game? We were on top. Reality is we are not good enough to miss chances like we had away to a good team like Southampton.
That’s the point. It’s not like we should expect another glut of chances after that. Those are the chances you simply must take at this level against a solid PL outfit like Southampton or you get punished. We’re naive at best, feeble in reality.

And that’s where a captain comes in to the refs ear letting him know. I can’t stand Henderson but he’s constantly having a word with a ref in games. Maguire says feck all even to our own players.
He's not captain material. Why is Bruno not our captain?

    This is so bad
No fight at all...we look so unbalanced
    So poorly coached defensively
At least we can’t blame Pogba or Martial for this awful performance
I honestly do not see what the fuss over Donny is?

Fell apart once things started to go their way.

After a bright start I think we are getting outsmarted by Ralph again.

    Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
People will point to the two great greenwood chances and say how unlucky we are but they were gifted to us. We’ve created feck all outside of that and since going two down look far more likely to concede a third than get back into it.

What a frustrating half. 3 glorious chances falling to the 2 guys you’d want them to, and 2 conceded from set pieces.

Think we need Cavani on at HT. some of the players seem to have given up already.

Same old rubbish under our good old legend ole, one step forward, one step back going nowhere but hey he gets the club and that is all that matters to some

I'm happy with our performance. I'm happier right now than I was versus WBA or Everton. Sloppy set pieces are the difference but we missed 2 golden chances this half too. No reason we can't create another 2 and take them.

Second game in a row where DDg concedes a "worldie" apparently from a free kick.

Lost count of the number of times he doesn't command his box at corners either but apparently its not his fault as well.

Greenwood continuing to be selfish like last game.

Playing long ball against two very tall CBs. World class tactics.

Basically any United game you'd watch these days.

Ole must do some changes halftime
Why? We've actually looked a lot better than in recent games and should have been 1-0 ahead. Then 1-1

Mason looks a little short of confidence. Both his shots would have flown in earlier this year. Needs a goal

Need Cavani on and to go 4231. Not sure where any of our players are supposed to be. Hopefully this is the last we see of the diamond. It's asking to be cut apart on the flanks.

Need a focal point up front. It's typical of this team. The one thing you don't do against Southampton is give away stupid free kicks and corners.

I dont see us scoring 3 goals and thats assuming we dont concede another.

3 points is a tall order against mighty southampton!

    So idiotic.

They would’ve had it drummed into them about Ward-Prowse and set pieces.

Lack of clinical finishing costing us dearly too.

The start was encouraging, so to be 2-0 down is beyond frustrating.

Would have preferred Cavani than Greenwood. I think he would have scored one of those sitters and probably would have created a couple more chances. I like Greenwood, but he isn't good enough to be leading the line at the moment. Cavani has done more this season from what I have seen so he deserved a start.

We should have scored two ourselves. And then Rashford could have had another good chance in the end if he went onto his left instead of trying to dribble through about eight players on his right.

Shouldn’t be losing this game, we’ve had enough chances. Having said that it isn’t good enough from the side so far. The system is too narrow, we aren’t getting the ball to the forwards enough in dangerous positions.
We got the ball to our forwards often enough, and in good goal-scoring positions too, but they failed to convert their chances.

Same old story, we're shocking in front of goal.

Absolutely. They should be in his ear about Ward-Prowse on the walk back to the changing room. But I just can’t see any of them, bar Fernandes, even attempting to.

Every year, James Ward Prowse takes a freekick just outside the box against Manchester United. It's always to the left, and he always curls it in into the top left corner and he always beats De Gea.
And every time its a worldie and not DDG's fault

How we are down is absolute beyond me. So much better. Totally in control. Had great chances. And after those we just get cold shower.

This game isn't over yet. If we can get a goal early on, we can cmoe out with something here.

Van de Beek needs to stop being a little bitch and realise he's not at Arsenal now. You get a chance you take it, no debate.

This diamond bullshit needs to feck off though, it's so boring. We've got fecking Cavani and we're watching Matic lollop around instead.
Bit strange to attack Van de Beek?

Looks like another inconsistent period in Ole's Utd career. Knew this would be a tough game, so typical if we lose. Sick of this inconsistency.

You need AWB to be secure in possession for Greenwood to get regular looks in the right hand side. Aaron is fecking terrified at the sight of the ball , our 50 million pound right back. No wonder their manager asks his players to pressure him at the first sign of him getting the ball.

How much longer is the biggest club in the world going to go on pretending we've got good goal scorers? How can Ole of all people not see the truth

In open play we’ve dominated this lot. But set pieces, well, that’s a different matter.

Bring Cavani on for some clinical finishing, please.
