Raiola: "I can say that it's over for Pogba at United"

Anyone think he’s trying to get yet another pay rise/new contract on the back of that goal? “Look, see what you will miss if Paul goes?”
To me it looks far more to me like a tacit acceptance of Pogba’s current standing in world football and the fact that Raiola needs to get the price right down to get him the sort of move he feels entitled to. Clubs just won’t shell out for a guy who has made only fitful contributions in the last couple of years.

I hope hes in the reserves for the rest of the season. Absolutely no respect for the club or his team mates allowing this to happen. Then that ridiculous post this morning about hair choices rather than lamenting his agent for doing it. If he really wants to leave then keep it in house and go about it quietly, still have the same effect and won't piss everyone off associated with United.

Potentially. If Raiola didn't come out with these comments, I still think we'd have sold him in the summer. That being said, unless Pogba either sacks him or publicly rebuts the comments I think all bridges will have been burnt for a new contract.

Thinking about all today’s crap headlines and articles about Pogba and his agent I also read this today’s MEN ‘At Southampton, where he underwhelmed, Fernandes still scored, assisted and choreographed Edinson Cavani's winner.’, puts some perspective on the Pogba saga.

This surely doesn't look good to other suitors and players with Raiola as their agent?

This fecker is stirring up shit before a crucial game, what's to stop him doing it to other clubs? Outrageous... he has a problem with Fifa? He is also one of the major problems in football today.

There is a shift in fan mood. We have had enough of Pogba and Raiola, this time I dont think anyone cares, just get rid. We have seen it since January, this team can improve without Pogba.

At least we won't have to keep thinking of how to fit Pobga in a team.
Its because we basically spent 10 months with him injured, he had a good 6 weeks when everybody's fitness was low after the lockdown and now hes a sub when rivals can intensely press again.
That injury was after 3 months of shit performances at the tail end of the season prior. Thats before we get into his Jose years.
feck me he has been shocking, or absent, for a good 80 percent of his time here

What pisses me off the most is we payed his clowns wages for nearly a year as he sat on a surgery table and he comes back loses us matches, scores one goal then this.

We really don’t need him around anymore he’s just a virus and I hope we can get some money back on him but feels very unlikely.

Get what we can for this charlatan, then try and prise Grealish out of Villa. Rather have an 8 out of 10 who works his bollocks off than a 9 who can’t be arsed.

Where does Grealish play in this team though? I don't think he wants to be on the bench most of the time and he is not going to play in holding midfield

I wonder if he's been told he's not playing tonight and that's why the comments have come out?

He can't be relied upon defensively and tonight is too big of a game to have a passenger, especially one in the defensive phase.

Apparently the interview was done last week so I doubt it.

I swear, this Pogba-Raiola connection is like being firmly strapped to a chair at a poorly trained dentist
And the dentist reeks of booze at that.

Pogba has to go in January. Any team other than Juventus

It’ll be some craic if he plays and gives away a penalty or loses the ball for a goal or something...

Have said it for a couple of years now. Get the overpriced, egotistical, underperforming virus out of the club. I'd be amazed if we got 40 mill, if we did, I'd laugh all the way to the bank.

Surely .. even on the caf, he can't have many fans left?

Exactly. Its not like we relied on him, he actually poses more questions to the team than answers.

He wants to play the CAM role with no defensive responsibilities, its not going to happen here.

I would rather see someone with hunger and will fight for the badge, Pogba will never give us that fight.

Feels good waking up and seeing this isn’t a dream. Pogba finally fecking will be better than any signing. Genuinely giddy with excitement to never see him again.

Nice to see people stop making excuses for him too. Raiola does what he says. He’s his employee who he pays millions to. He obviously does what Pogba wants. It’s been embarrassing with people spending years acting like Raiola bullies Pogba and he’s really just a nice quiet guy who actually wants to be here. Newsflash, he doesnt.

You are still defending Pogba?! You know he can sack his agent whenver he wants? He'd have dozens of decent agents all lining up and if they have any integrity they'd tell him to buckle down and do some work in his job if he wants to revive his career. The path he is heading sees him out of french national team in couple of years.
I’ve never defended Pogba believe me

I think his original plan was always to come to United for a big payday then move on to Real Madrid when he'd confirmed himself as one of the best midfielders in the world. The problem is that it hasn't gone to plan so now they have to force the issue for him to get what he wants.

We should never buy any players who have him as there agent ever again. Really shit that he always has the best young players like Haaland, de Ligt, Gravenberch.

I rate Pogba, but under no circumstances can you let your agent say all this crap!

Pogba now has 2 choices;

Come out today and condem his agents quotes and then sack him.

or

put in a transfer request and then feck off to the reserves until he’s sold.

You can see he is very well liked by his colleagues so why hasn’t Maguire fecking gripped him. It’s not Raiolas words, it’s Pogbas! Not once has Paul denounced his agents damaging quotes, especially before a huge match!

No wonder 95% of our fans can’t stand Pogba and want rid!

Yep, he wants to play the Bruno role apparently..

I cannot see Pogba making runs in behind the defenders like Bruno does. I cannot see him carrying a team like Bruno can. I don't see the leadership.

Bruno excels in that role because he leads by example, when he is on the pitch players step up a level.

That influence is something Pogba lacks.
Ive always said this when people said Pogba is world class and will finally excel when he has great players around him etc etc..

The world class players don't rely on the quality and players around them to raise their game. The proper world class players raise the game of those around them.

i hope Bruno goes off at him. Start creating space between the squad and pogba. This is Bruno's team now.

Exactly, the one thing that annoys me the most is all the Pogba fan boys say "he hasn't had the team around him", "he isnt a DM", "his best position is left CAM"

Get of it, which player gets labelled World class and can only play one position and needs 4 workhorses around him? He isnt Messi level.

Look at Bruno, come into a weak team and lifted the players. He played different positions in different systems and still has an influence in games.

People forget that we had Matic, Herrera protecting Pogba and he done nothing.

The lesson is also to never buy a Raiola player. Not worth the trouble.

Surely this has to be close to a breach of his contract. Pogba is a United employee and beeing paid to do a best possible job. With this statement from Raiola, Pogba will without any doubt be lacking the right focus tonight and forward, and on top of that the moral in the team will be weakened unless Ole manages to play his cards right. Pogba is basicly picking himself out of the team tonight, despite United paying him big money to be a top professional. I don’t understand how it’s even allowed without getting legal consequenses.

The one good thing about this is every other fan outside of Manutd thinks Pogba is WC because they do not really watch him play for 90 mins like most United fans.

This will potentially help us get some value out of him. I would take anything between £60-80m for him.
