I'm not anti Scottish, I just wanted Moyes out.
It's very simple for me.

At the highest level the margins are incredibly small. So you need one or more of these to succeed.

1. Lot of very very good players. We have a few but nowhere near enough.

2. An excellent manager who can make the team greater than the sum or parts. Which Ole is obviously not.

3. Luck.

Which of these is fixable for us? We are not buying shit ton of good players. Can't fix luck. So there you go.

Mind you for me, Ole has done a fair to decent job. But ultimately where can he take us?
Ole happens to be the jammiest manager out there, its because of luck that he still has the job. And we have an excellent squad, in fact our squad and our manager are on completely different levels.

He wanted Sancho, Grealish and Upamecano in a COVID window.

He's delusional if he thought that was possible.
He also wanted haaland last season and he didn't sign because he felt no one apart from ole wanted him at utd.

He started Luke Shaw, played two CDMs again despite it not working in ages, we conceded early goals again, slow to do substitutions again.

Things will not change with him in charge and he is a one trick pony with counterattack football.

Shaw and De Gea need to be sold asap, Ole keeps picking them and they keep letting the side down.

He doesn't learn his lessons. Time to go.

Step up or step aside, he’s had 2 years and looks as out of his depth still.

He still doesn’t know his 1st 11.

Im not saying Poch is the answer and everything will click, but we need an experienced footballing coach and a strong DOF.

Rashford and Martial cannot be trusted to lead the line either, so I think its time Greenwood is our main man and we sign a RF.

Ole has been here 2 years and there is still so many questions hanging over this team and it’s unacceptable!

In England, exactly the same as the guy the Cafe wants to replace him.
Not a big Poch fan but are you seriously comparing him to a guy who got Cardiff relegated and then got sacked in the Championship?
The guy who's only decent job before coming to us in his 10 year managerial career has been to manage Molde?

Keep being delusional, half the fan base is anyway. It's not like Woodward will do the right thing even if it is staring him in the face.

PSG is fair enough but not RBL. What's damning is it's the loss against Istanbul that's killed us because we've won 1 lost 1 against the other two teams. CL group stage is all about consistency, Ole's United doesn't do consistency.

As we proved once we stopped playing defensively - they aren't that amazing. Well drilled and fit? Yes, but they have no players on an individual level who are elite (bar Upamecano who didn't even play) because they sell them on. Difference is purely coaching because they sure as hell don't have better players than us.
Was their coach on holiday when we hammered them at our place?

Yes mate,Ole got caught with his pants down tonight.

Just terrible, disjointed, clueless football. Not good enough at all and it’s not just the result, the quality of the football is so poor.

With each game and with each lame and feckless performance it gets harder to see how Ole can take us anywhere other than where we currently are.

The difficulty is that on the surface we’re doing ok in the league but the reality of what we’re watching is pretty dire stuff. Ole was absolutely rinsed by Naglesmann.
Agreed on all accounts mate. We go from one end of the spectrum - performance wise - to the other from week to week, purple patches followed by absolute shite, either chopping or changing too much or playing players in to the ground; can go on and on and on. There's no method to this madness and there is no destination for this train.

Sadly not enough luck to save us. Cheap pen and jammy goal was not enough since we conceded 3 easy goals for them.

That’s the danger of too many ex players in the media, Ole will always be given a free pass by his ex colleagues
That was one of the reason why I never wanted Ole full-time. He will hard to sack for the board.

Ole has done enough to be given till the end of the season.

The board will give him a chance to get top 4.

Ole inherited a squad of overpaid spoiled divas from 3 terrible managers and is still trying to offload some of the divas.

He's done a decent enough job of clearing out the garbage and was unable to sign his main target Sancho in the last window, due to an unexpected pandemic.

It's not an excuse. It's a fact. We weren't favourites to win either game. We were in a far stronger position after two games that when we blew it.
Show the odds for the Leipzig-United game prior to kick-off then?

Being favorites/underdogs is meaningless. We needed 1 mere point against 2 teams we beat earlier in the group. We couldn't salvage that. Both games blown by the manager.

Dig up stupid!
Big hit to my confidence in him tonight.

It's not even necessarily the result, RBL are a very good team and a loss isn't a terrible result its the manner of it that angers me.

We've had plenty of warnings over the past few weeks about slow starts. We can get away with it against mid table prem sides but not at this level.

It's simply unacceptable to start a game of this magnitude in such a manner. They should have been foaming at the mouths when they came out tonight instead they're half asleep and 2-0 down before they've even got a foot on the ball.

Formations, line ups, subs and such like are all arbitrary if the application is not at the required standard.

Very disappointed tonight Ole, not good enough

Ive seen quite a few of your posts over the past few weeks and honestly, genuinely, I can’t believe you’re anything else other than an opposition fan on the wind-up. You post things which just aren’t true...
What is not true? That we startet poorly? That we took over controll of the game after about 20 min? That we were better in second half?

When we play 4 at the back and get dominated by PSG and West Ham, its the tactics.

When we play 5 at the back and concede two, its the tactics.

Just let the caf manage the club.
When we lose this thread grows extremly. When we win, it is calm. Not even something positive.

Its incredible isn't it. He must be blind. Or blinded by his love for Ole
Blind? For Solskjaer? Not even close. But I see things without feelings.

Way too late to fix things, should never have waited at half time. In fact Pogba changed the game, if he was brought in earlier you just never know.

Come on don't make out like his some messiah by adding a delusional spin to things.
Who said he was Messiah?

Try’s to be funny with the football manager comment then goes on to giving the most delusional opinion of the game. Well done kid!
Kid?

You have a strange definition of “fixing things” when we lost the game and are out of the UCL. That’s not fixing things. It’s simply reversing some of the damage that should never have been inflicted on us in the first place.
But he did fix things. We lost. But he did fix problems we had after 20 minutes. To late but still.

We were losing already. We had to go for it and they didn't. This idea we played better is nonsense - they didn't have to go stupid attacking so just sat back and let us come at them with long distance shots
You can look at it that way. I see it differently where we took controll over game. We became aggresive and won more balls.

Another one who should join the sammsky wankfest at the Church of Ole.

Do you people even fecking watch the games? He causes all the issues in the first place but somehow he's fixing things? The fecking mental gymnastics.
So you can't fix something that you did wrong? He didn't get the team going for 20 minutes. After that, I don't see to much problems, concidering we played one of Bundesliga top clubs.

For me, those still defending Solksjaer are more concerned with being able to say “I told you so” if he were to turn it around, than they are the actual well-being and long term success of this club.

I've been a defender of Ole for a long time. He's a club legend after all. However, he needs the boot. We are poorly coached.

Man for man we are superior to RBL. They outplayed us tonight and although we smashed them at OT, they outplayed us for about an hour there too. That's because they're well coached.

We have no style of play, no system, no attacking patterns, nothing! We get results through individual brilliance, not tatical application or training drills.

We need to replace Ole and the backroom staff, unfortunately.

He's so bad. NOT ONE other club in the league would have him as manager.
How comes opposition fans can see this and some of our fans can't? This is a fact, Ole will fade away once he gets sacked.

We can still salvage plenty from this season, we’re in a decent position in the league, in both cups and unfortunately now in the Europa league. The squad has quality, we have some really good players, if we got a top manager in before it’s too late we could go places.

Like most of us on here I have been a lifelong Utd fan but all this season I have felt completely fed up with Ole. I recognize that like all of us he lives and breathes utd but that is not enough. There is a reason why none of us here are manager of utd and that is we cannot do the job and have never shown anything to suggest we could do the job. This is the exact same with OGS. Managerially he has never shown he has what it takes and if people on here are honest with themselves they should think the same. I love the guy and what he has done and do not for one minute dispute that he really believes he can get utd back to where we feel they belong but that is not enough and the evidence is clearly against him. Occasionally he gets it right in big games but occasionally is not enough! I do think there is quality in the squad but too many times we have looked like such a poorly coached outfit ( the first goal away in Istanbul recently being the ultimate example) and been found wanting! Loved ye as a player Ole but time to do what's right!

We in fact needed 1 point from the last 3 games.

What do you make of Ole starting 7 defensive players tonight? Especially the Matic/McTominay pairing. Do you believe that mentality in the biggest games is acceptable for us here?

How is pointing out another United manager didn't get the players he wanted, on account of the same front office staff, evidence in your favour?
Because the players mentioned are completely unobtainable.

Poor Ole.. He wants the best players in the world but cant have them... He only wanted Haalland and Sancho.. Two of the best young players in the world.. Thats the only way he has any chance of winning a game. Having a far superior team so the players can win the game for him.

No manager gets all the players he wants. That's the point. Ole certainly got Maguire and Bruno.

Ah the old, he only got £250m and not the extra £110m he needed for Sancho. His signings have been terrible bar Bruno - he's made Maguire and AWB regress to the point people want them out the club and James doesn't play.

I actually think the players should get more credit, they (and VAR) have been bailing him out since day 1 of this season.

It won't happen.

Ole will be here until top 4 isn't possible.

Anyone who can't see the blatant obvious - and never critiques someone even where it's deserved- regardless of who they are is delusional. You may not say he is a messiah, but by your comments, you certainly treat him as one.
