We cannot start slow again
As someone mentioned in other thread, we need to break the cycle of letting the opposition score first. Odds are looking better with each passing match, so maybe today's the day.
On top of that, we have a very good record of winning the games where we score first. Don't remember the exact date, but if I'm not mistaken, it goes back to 2014?

Properly setting the stage for us here. Win and we go a point ahead of Spurs with a game in hand... No pressure boys.

Spurs are so open when they are actually made to push out and play football. Score the first goal against them and there formation set up goes out the window.
With the level of attacking talent and ability, combined with VAR, I have no idea why your philosophy is based on not conceding? Especially if you do concede your team is toothless while holding the ball.

Ihenacho not concerned with scoring it seems. You're on a break and you're one v one and you go backwards.

Terrible player.

Absolute stroll for Leicester, this. Really poor from Spurs.

That was a shocking performance. All my positivity I had up until last week has disappeared. Things must improve significantly and quickly.

That Spurs forum has a poster named Sammyspurs who is pretty much their own version of Sammsky1 here, or maybe they're even one ? I don't know.

I know Kane has had a good start to the season and his link up play with Son has been fantastic but turning one of the world's best nines into a ten solely for counter attacking transition seems so limited of a plan.

Poor performance from Spurs. Dumb pen given away by Aurier, then Leicester got lucky for their 2nd goal. But they deserved to win.

We have to pick it up from here onwards.

Hard not to be depressed that Liverpool are going to sleepwalk to a 20th title even with no Van Dijk. The sooner Klopp fecks off to Madrid or Bayern the better.

It's a little bit crazy when you think about it. Both Chelsea and Spurs were considered title contenders 2 weeks ago and close to the top with Liverpool. They both lost 2 games in a row, Chelsea dropped to to 6th or so and Spurs can also drop to 6th this week. In another season both would have had more cushion to endure losing 1 or 2 games without their positions affected.

But it's how it's. The top 10 is crazy congested with the point gab being only 1 or 2 between each team. Wolves in 10th are 5 points only away from top 4 playing one less game than Spurs.

This is gonna be a pretty long season.

Tells you that if we win 9 of our last 12 like we did last season we’ve got a chance.

So it's down to united to give liverpool a run for their money with our two games in hand with the likes of spurs, city etc.. already more than 3 points off from them and a poorer goal difference.
