Might be an important game in the fight for the Europa League places
Might also be an important game in the fight for CL places. As things stand, if Spurs win tomorrow we go 2nd.

Chelsea have been very poor. As much as Werner loves to miss a chance, he still looks a threat for them.
Id argue otherwise. He has to control for the area hes in. The amount of times hes out wide with nowhere to go and hes doing some turn at 100mph and runs the ball out of play is ridculous.

2-0 is the sort of lead we like to feck up so i'm not getting relaxed yet...
A Giroud-Werner partnership would destroy our backline and get them so many fouls, so dumb from Lampard but i won't complain. He'll probably come on and score anyway.

Nigel DeJong and Andy Gray vs Richard "The Idiot" Keys on BeIn about fouls is hilarious.

I am not suprised at all honestly. “Coach I'm really worried about our 5+ losing run"......“don't worry we got Chelsea next". This has been going on since Sarri. Absolute shitshow this.

Abraham is one of the worst players I've seen who's got a decent goal record, utterly hopeless with the ball at his feet.

Chelsea won’t win a game against any reputable team whilst Lampard is in charge. Fearless as a player, an absolute coward as a manager. Every single team in this league has a go at Arsenal these days, except us.

The sooner Frank leaves the better. His reputation will remain if he holds his hands up and admits he’s utterly clueless and walks away. The longer he stays, the more damage he will cause to himself and the club. So far out of his depth it’s unreal.

I thought you’d lose today too tbh. I don’t think you’ll do much under Lampard. Roman will get you a real manager in the summer & you’ll seriously challenge next season though.
I'm not giving up on Lampard, though it has to noted that I was not fully convinced by him either - he's a rookie and I hoped/still hope he'd grow into the job, meaning I'd be accepting of his shortcomings/inexperience provided he showed signs of learning for his mistakes. This season is essentially his first 'proper' season at Chelsea.

Indeed. I thought Keys was purposefully playing dumb there to create a discussion.
Nah he's serious, I mean this is the guy who reckoned Pep should bring in Big Sam or Tony Pulis to sort his defence.

You make it sound like it's an outlandish or bold statement. Of course he should. Yes these players need some time to bed in but he should do better with these.
Feels like Lampard isn’t under any pressure whatsoever. He shouldn’t be sacked but questions might need to be asked at the end of the season if they’re some way off the pace.

Arteta getting a win and buying himself more time in the Arsenal job is a nice present for the rest of us.

Jorginho coming on, Arsenal might have an easier time running onto our back 4 now with him as the protector. Could be a bigger scoreline for Arsenal this.

I’m sure he’ll still get plenty of goals for Chelsea but Werner barely looks a footballer. They’ll be better off for bringing him off.
