Myself and Ashwin @AR87 got together last night to discuss yet another semifinal loss and what it means for Ole and this squad.
Focus on our misfiring attack with Martial, Rashford and Bruno in the spotlight before moving onto defensive woes with more set piece goals conceeded.

Then we go on a tangent to discuss Cavani, bash the FA and try to solve racism (Spoiler: we don't!)
Finishing with a quick preview of Watford in the FA Cup and the Burnley game that could take us to top of the table.

Also please share, tweet, follow and all that good stuff - and if you've got some coin to spare, why not follow us on Patreon.

Surely even you guys can now acknowledge this CB partnership is disaster with a capital D and the sooner Ole realises his mistake and does something about it then the better off we will be defensively

Well I've said since the start of the season that I don't think Lindelof is good enough and that we need to buy a CB

Bailly has been decent but needs to prove he can stay fit. I have been disappointed in the lack of game time for Tuanzebe though

I think Lindelof is good enough to be in the squad as a rotation CB, but we need Bailly or Axel to come good as the foil for Maguire or to buy in the market. I didn't even think Lindelof was bad yesterday, but his defending on the set piece for City's opener was so weak, and in general I think we clearly need somebody more aggressive and athletic alongside Maguire.

Yeah I find it unbelievable that he bossed Neymar & Mbappe in Paris but since then had very little game time at all, last night was a perfect opportunity to play him over Lindelof but no back comes Ole's favourite and we are defending deep again meaning AWB & Shaw have to tuck in to protect them.

Well know Ole has no intention of buying one in this window so will be going with what we have

Im sure Ole wants one but until we get rid of the likes of Rojo and TFM (Jones too), the board is unlikely to sanction it

Tuanzebe is likely to play today, for me he should be playing as much as Lindelof

Looking at Martial, I just don't think he's a natural number 9 and it shows when he's not on form. He's a terrific footballer so when he's on form he can do everything, but when not on form he needs to fall back on habits and what comes natural. The number 9 role doesn't come natural to him.

Id agree with that - although last season he did improve a lot in this position with better hold up, heading, movement etc but when Cavani comes in then you see the difference of a natural #9

Yeah still hope we can get another season out of Eddy and then sign Haaland when the clause activates in 2022 but there will be many clubs in the race and we aren't great at getting it done when other teams are involved too.

If you're ever stuck for a guest, I'm always open to gaining more exposure and have gained a fair bit of podcasting experience. I have a 3 hour interview with a director of football going out tonight.
