Tempted to use the Triple Captain chip.

Martinez

Maguire Justin Coufal Dias

KDB Bruno Salah Soucek

Antonio Kane

(Bench of Dallas, Raphinha and Brewster)

Who would you guys triple captain?
I have used mine on KDB. I've had so much bad luck so far. It has to eventually change and I can't afford to play safe.

Worth a bench boost with Tierney, Saiss, Saka and Martinez? Only Martinez with a double and he is risky for Covid. Tierney got injury risk.
Boly back so I totally regret getting Saiss with the risk of him being dropped again. I got blinded by those attacking headers from him.
Also Saka could get dropped potentially although I think he will get minutes at worst.

Basically it is a risky bench, but I will probably never have a safe one. The fixtures are all decent to be fair apart from Man City for Martinez.

Somehow considering a -12 of Forster, Taylor, Son, Brewster > Johnstone, Stones, Grealish, Antonio to bench boost.

Now thinking of chucking Kane > Vardy on there too for -16.

Yeah it's a tough one. IF you think you can plan well for dgw29 with a WC just before, better to TC now.

Anyone knows of Son to Foden is worth it?
Depends what you’re using the extra cash for? Also be prepared for Foden to sit on the bench for one those games, despite his form, it’s still a high risk.

I'd go for it. Martinez double including one against Newcastle, Saka against a defensively soft Newcastle, Tierney and Saiss, both of whom offer huge attacking threat against WBA and NEW, two teams who offer little attacking threat. You won't have a better bench all season.

Genuinely think Bamford outscores Wilson this week, but stick to you want.

With Bruno on four yellows, do I take him out and get De Bruyne or take the risk that Bruno will behave for two games and not get a yellow?

I wanted to plump for Bruno triple captain, but the yellow and potential ban is just too risky. I've gone for BB

There will be other double gamesweeks coming up later in the season I imagine?

Pure madness. You'd need 3-4 goals just to get the hits back. And taking Son or Kane out this week is dangerous.

I've already taken a -4 to switch DCL & Mahrez to Vardy & Soucek

Do I take a -8 and also do Klich to Foden? He has 2 easy fixtures but the issue as ever, is being Pepp'd

Gonna Wildcard so I don’t have to take a -16 hit. All DGW players.

Martinez
Coufal Stones Dias Robertson
Salah Bruno Grealish Rashford
Antonio Vardy (C)

Thoughts?

Or I do Mane to KDB but it pains me not having Liverpool as you know they're going to get going again...

Will Tammy Abraham start the next 2 games? Need a replacement because Ings has COVID.

In hindsight I feel I should have brought in Stones instead of Coufal to get a double City defence. Ah well.

I doubt it. Did consider him over Watkins but he's not nailed at all. With Pulisic and Ziyech fit it looks like Werner is playing up front again.
Good differential if he does start, but a bit risky.
Watkins isn’t that appealing either, for all we know he might be riddled with COVID. My BB has gone tits up with Southampton v Leeds game being postponed and ings illness.

Prefer KDB over Salah and Bruno this week but very nice.
Right I’ve just thought of who KdB was playing and you’ve convinced me. He’s hit some form now and has two easy home games. Could do with tripling up on City as well considering their next 5 fixtures.

I've taken a -8 point hit to get kdb in and some double game week players. Gonna go with TC on Vardy. Kdb is obvious choice but I'm thinking he might get rested at some point.

Half of my bench have two games. Do I bench boost?
I've done just that despite having no second keeper and a single other sub.

When will you have the chance to get 5 (or may be 6) games on your bench later on?

I'm happy with 9 doublers, 3 tottenham, Bamford and smith rowe home to Newcastle.
Can't do anything with a 4m keeper and 0.2m in bank without taking two hits so will leave it.

I’m doing Vardy, but Soucek and Mane are decent shouts. Can’t believe you still have Werner though  Gonna replace him soon?
He drives me mad! I always seem to have more pressing issues so he remains to troll me each week!

Soucek has the easiest fixtures but im struggling to look past his team, he's vice atm

A wild card without de Bruyne seems brave.

But you should have a strong week.
It's whether you'll wish you had that wc in future. Especially if you don't have the fh left.

He's good in the air. But i just wonder if that will be countered by playing Burnley and WBrom who if they have any strength it'll be in the air.

That's interesting, to be fair I don't really watch West Ham but know he's doing well atm, Burnley are horribly defensive (at least vs us) so he may struggle in that game

Not sure if Klich to Foden is worth taking a minus 4 to a minus 8, I got burnt by Mahrez the same way after his mini run of form...

He’s unbelievably the current West Ham team’s top scorer now that Haller is gone, but I’d personally not want to bank on a DM scoring at least one goal. I’d suggest Vardy as he has two games at home against teams Leicester will counter in Saints and Chelsea. That’s the logic behind me captaining him anyway.

Gonna put KdB in over Salah now to triple up on City considering the ease of their next 5 fixtures.

And yeah, both chips gone, so if there’s one more blank GW in FA Cup QF week or a few injuries, I’ll just take a maximum -8 hit.
