Not in the league cup they didn't.Thats also because City shut up shop. Liverpool needs a win here so lets see what happens.
If its an open game, we win imo

Only reason, lindelof has been out for few games and hes been ok, before that we seeHave to assume Bailly isn’t 100% or he just can’t do multiple games a week
People seem to oddly be overlooking that Bailly might have a knock or something. Bearing in mind he's probably never played more than 3-4 games in a row without some sort of madness going on, why would that be different now?Ffs it’s like Ole dropped prime Ramos. For all the good things Bailly showed, he’s still the most mental nutjob I’ve seen and you really rather want something else against Liverpool at Anfield. Lindelof rarely makes a mistake, his problem is he is physically weak, but who is going to bully him? Fecking Firmino?
Happy to be proven wrong. (Attempted jinx)Terrible post.
And we had our chances and they scored from 2 set plays? Not in the league cup they didn't.
Weve seen oppo players out of position and expected to exploit it only for said player to have a great game. Not expecting Henderson/Fabinho to roll over. Recall Carrick and Keane doing decent jobs during one of our many defensive injury crisisIt will be disappointing if we don't score today considering we're up against 2 midfielders in defence.
Even if Liverpool win, them keeping a clean sheet will piss me off more.
Its never really been a question because bailly has just had his first run of games in yearsLindelof always starts when fit for games against the top teams under Ole.
Our record with him starting in big games recently has been poor though, we always give up goals first and preventable ones most of the timeLindelof always starts when fit for games against the top teams under Ole.
This.Lindelof ain't that bad and bailly ain't the new Thuram so the meltdown here is somewhat unwarranted.
Why would Pogba be on the left?Wot the Fuk, are we playing a diamond?
I thought it was Pogba on the left?
Pogba was brilliant on the left. Martial will come out there too, along with Shaw pushing up. Trent is going to have a long 90 mins being overloaded by those threeI was worried Ole would field a team like this and he has.
No Cavani upfront, Rahford on the right where he was awful last game, Pogba on the wing so no pace there, Lindelof instead of an in form Bailley.
Aarrgghh! Not feeling as confident now. I'll take a draw with both hands.
