Lineker and Shearer snuck out the back after doing the Brentford vs Leicester City game last week - despite a large number of young fans hoping to meet and get an autograph/selfie, they can both do one imo.

I don't mind Lineker. Jenas too but as a pundit, not sure of him as the face though.
I like Mark Chapman, think he'd be a better choice.
Or if they want to try something new then get someone like Johnny Vegas and host MOTD in the pub.

Mark Chapman is a much better presenter. I doubt he would mind doing MOTD and MOTD2

I intentionally watch MOTD at least 30mins after it starts and fast forward through the 'analysis' so no complaints from me.

Mark Chapman is by far the best broadcaster the BBC have. Everyone sleeping on Chappers.

Cavani "using his experience" to win the free kick as if Fabinho didn't just clear him out

Real problem is, as footballers go, he is a bit of a nobody.

He's got 50 quid in Liverpool to win, hasn't he?

His experience to win a freekick after being clearly fouled. Dear jesus.
Exactly, wasn't even one where you'd say it was contentious but you've seen them given, literally just went through the back of him with his knee ffs

I don't mind him, quite light in his commentary and not really biased. Much better than having to listen to Keown or Mcmanaman.

His bias has been outstandingly brilliant. He's making out they've been the miles better team and is creaming himself over every simple pass they make.

Think he probably hates us after spending his entire career getting beat by us. Would be interesting to know the stats on that. I remember that stunning freekick he scored for Newcastle when we spanked them 6-2. Maybe he’s still salty about it.

What game have you been listening to?

He has a lob on for thiago and Said the ref bought the fk for the 3rsd goal when it was stonewall.

He was almost in tears

He showed some bias against us in the Fulham game, tonight he couldn’t hide his enthusiasm when Liverpool did well. Completely boring & lacks any personality

Awful, awful commentator. So boring to listen to. Jenas, that is. Gary's brilliant.

He’s either an idiot or not even trying to hide his bias. I’ll go with both.

The game he was watching sounded fun, to be fair.

It definitely wasn't the one that was actually being played though.
