As opposed to every other team that score goals after 20+ passes and perfect coaching.

Man our individuals must be brilliant!
I see that you're trying to be sarcastic but I didn't mean it as a dig towards our team, more that we seem to struggle to win comfortably against teams that on paper should be beaten easily but that we still manage to grind out wins on the back of individual brilliance.

Stranger things have indeed happened but we are where we are for a reason. A wide open defence and a non existent attack. Man Utd have too much for us to handle. Would be great to grab a goal tonight though just for a confidence boost.
You score first early goal and it's game on, United will hammer you.

I think the only way to beat United away is hold it until 80th minute and try to score against them.

Probably just being really pessimistic after watching us flounder for the last 7 years or so, but I keep waiting for all this to fall apart. For us to start losing and dropping down the table. Hopefully, it doesn't start tonight and we can ride this train for a little longer.

We need to play our strongest side, keep momentum and turn the screw on the teams around us. If we keep winning the pressure cranks up on them as they can`t afford to slip.

Could admins please delete Ighalo from selection options? He left the club...

We need to rest some key players for Arsenal on the weekend, so with that in mind.

    De Gea
    Wan-Bissaka Tuanzebe Maguire Telles
    Matic
    VDB Fernandes
    Greenwood Martial James

Mata could still offer something tonight. This is one of the few games were he's useful and his lack of pace shouldn't be a liability because we should be camped in their half.
They’re a very physical team if he plays it shouldn’t be from the start on the wing
Get the game won and bring him in with 30 mins left

Is that from MEN? Or confirmed by the club? Don't they just watch to see who is at the hotel and make an educated guess?
They usually watch who arrives to the hotel. But Diallo lives there so didn’t need to arrive :)

Considering how much we struggled against an actual Championship side - Watford in the FA Cup -, I'm not at all confident of a good performance against a soon-to-be Championship side. (No offence to Blades fans but at this point relegation is kind of inevitable.)

So while I wholeheartedly support the idea of rotating a bit and using some fringe players, I'm not sure we can afford it.

By that logic we can’t rotate for any league games at all, yet it’s clear we have to rotate on a regular basis.

Depends on how many we rotate. We can't rotate more than half of the team and expect good performance.

In the FA cup we had Mata, Lingard, James in the attacking 3 with McTominay and VdB in mifield 2. No one who can carry the ball in midfield and no one who can take the risks in attacking 3.

That would be great, but considering 20 arrived at the hotel that's the full squad already. Unless someone got a tummy ache overnight he's unlikely to be in the squad.

Did Ole mention him the presser? Hopefully he's being saved for the Arsenal game. They've got the pace to hurt us, especially if they set up to press/play on the counter. Lindelof/Maguire would be a risky option for that.

This should be a good chance for some squad players to get some minutes under their belts, whether that be from the start or from the bench. I'd like to see our Donny get a full 90mins to get him up to speed. I fancy Greenwood from the start too.
