What guns are everyone is using?
Using the MK17 Rifle and then one of the LMG's with 100 rounds mags (am just about to do the final stronghold before World Tier 1. Have heard that on higher World Tiers then you need more DPS than the Rifle's can output...

I prefer the MK17 to the other Rifles despite it's recent nerf, and prefer the Rifle class to the MMRs.

As for the LMG, I love the mag size (120 bullets with the Extra talent) and their inherent stability compared to the ARs.

The raid is out, unfortunately there is no matchmaking. It was hard enough getting a 6 man for Destiny raid, going to be close to impossible getting a 8 man raid team

Lack of matchmaking is a complete joke. They fecked up the endgame for a huge number of people still playing the game with that decision.

The sad part is the matchmaking in everything else has been great. I rarely have a problem getting 4 people to do challenging missions with. I'm just in a clan with three mates, one of whom no longer plays, so we are screwed with no matchmaking.

Noticed this yesterday, hopefully they’ll patch it in.

£15 on Cdkeys for Xbox one at the moment. I assume a cracking deal but I don't actually know much about the game.

Any tips for for someone that never played this or Division 1? Not too interested in online straight off the bat but I assume that's where a lot of the enjoyment comes from?

It is best playing co op, but all the side missions & main missions can be done solo. Strongholds very much less so though

Even the main missions are difficult tbh, the amount of enemies and how they flank you when there's a boss kicking about who barely takes damage

Just bought it for PS4 on sale and struggling a bit, it's alright if you join a group though, I've joined a couple and everyone has just went for the objective.

Such a disappointing game.

Weirdly, the game from level 1-30 or whatever it was, was actually much better than the first.
Division 1 just had something special about it for me. The snowy atmosphere, the uniqueness of the game, it just worked.
Even when it started to get stale, I could jump in a survival daily. That mode was the best thing about the game.

Div 2 just was more of the same, lost it's shine

I recently got back into it and really enjoyed it.
The various updates have fixed the issues I had - overly bullet-spongy enemies, poor loot, limited build variety.

Loot drops have been improved and targeted loot makes it much easier to create different builds. There are much more legitimate builds which encourage different ways of playing. And the weapons now feel as though they pack a punch.

The look and feel of the world was always excellent in both games and it’s still a lot of fun. I usually matchmake and instantly join up with 3 others for heroic missions, so there are still plenty of people playing.

I am meaning to give it another go at some point to be honest as I loved Division 1 so much.
I don't think the game had many issues for me to be honest, apart from it just ended up being much of the same.

If they dropped a survival mode I'd be on it in an instant.

I gotta say, I was always in the minority with this, but I actually loved when it was stupidly rare to get gold items on Division 1
I remember my first drop in the DZ. It was a mod  I don't even think I used it, but I remember being nervous calling that chopper in, desperate to get it out without a hitch.

I know it was a problem that you could farm for a week and then get a gun you'd never even dream of using, thats fair enough, it needed some tweaking. Maybe a market place where you could buy and sell.

My argument was always, everything that could be done on the game, could be done with a purple build. (I remember it taking either 1hour or 2hours for my first Falcons lost completion)
It was tough, but it could be done. Throw in a few golds as added bonuses, cool.

But the fact that when they made gold drops from every boss, it just meant you could complete a good build within a day, and almost perfect one within a week. After that, the game had nothing left really. Then when they brought out recalibration, the game had nothing left.

Thats why me and a friend just rinse and repeated survival. It was the only mode that was fun.

Don't get me wrong, even with perfect builds, I still did enjoy playing the game, I don't even know why by the end of it, cause I didn't even need loot, but the game just became speed runs
