I can’t believe the weather is such that he can be wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Literally FFS.

Also the lack of mask-wearing throughout is egregious.

Low 80s in central Florida in February are a reality. I remember the majority of my Christmases in St. Petersburg growing up being in shorts & flip flops.

So there's that, Lawrence to the Jags if there was any doubt left.

Great servant for Houston so at least it wasn’t a messy breakup.

I know technically he asked for his release but the Texans could have asked him for a list of teams he would be willing to play for and then trade Watt to the team with the best offer. That would have respected his wishes and would have left them with at least some sort of draft pick. Instead, they give him away for nothing.

It's been pleasant the last week, was in the 40s/50s off-and-on since December but usually 60s/70s. It's kinda a paradise weather wise. But I can feel the humidity heating up this week.

Too much mutual respect for that to happen. Think he'll end up with his brothers in Pittsburgh if they have any interest in making it happen.

Is this your first concerted time in Florida? Embrace the current lack of humidity!

When I looked at WU at my old STP zip code at the same time as the parade, it read 81. It’s been similar up here in Georgia recently.

Has Brett Favre already talked about the disgusting way Watt forced himself out of Houston?

Nah, I arrived here in Nov 2019 so I've experienced all of it. Biloxi, MS is still the absolute worst humidity I've experienced in the States.

I spent many a summer in Gulfport / Biloxi growing up, my grandfather was the assistant commandant at Keesler many moons ago & the family stuck around. The summers, coupled with the prevailing mindset of the populace, conspired to make those summers rather tedious at times

I think Houston are in for a nasty couple of months. What happens if DW does go? All those pix but no DW. If he stays, no pix and they need to shed some weight.

grier and Flo did a job on Houston

My training was at Sheppard in the mid-90s, it was hot and humid but I had T-shift so our classes were in the late afternoon to after dark (midnight chow!) so marching wasn't too bad most days. I've been to Keesler a couple times for further training but was permanent party both times so I lodged in billeting. Felt bad for those newbies marching to class every morning, drenched in sweat, sometimes in rain, by the time they got to class. Some brought change of clothing. The worst was making them march in blues. That uniform will stick to you with the slightest bit of moisture.

Not familiar with Sheppard, totally familiar with the oppressive early AM humidity!

Tunsil is a genuinely good player but I don't see how trading two first round picks for an LT makes any sense, no matter how good or young they are. I understand that they had to protect Watson but for that amount of picks, they shot themselves in the foot.

It was a really bad move from Houston. I mean it was a great move by Grier but we then went got ourselves a project with our third pick in the first round with Iggy...... not holding my breath for this draft. I’d love Sewell at 3 but do we trade down..... it’s gonna be an interesting couple of months.

That would be a nice story, but probably involve him working for minimum wage. Not to mention that’s not where they need to strengthen most.

Any chance the Packers are in for Watt?

Anyone subscribed to NFL gamepass and if so, is it worth it?

Tempted to purchase it for next season later this year.

Kind of down to you whether it's worth it or not. Mate of mine has it and thinks it's great. Every single live game plus 60min highlights of every game too.

I wouldn't pay that for it, but if you're gunna get your moneys worth then its worth it.

Cheers. Don’t know if it’s true or not but I was reading that not all the games are shown live as there is a blackout for the games that are exclusively being shown on Sky Sports?

I’ll probably just see later this year when the season starts and go for like the 7 day free trial (if they offer one) and decide if it’s worth keeping as a subscription.

Yup games are blacked out if on Sky (but only the 6pm and 9:30pm). It’s annoying but they come up on game pass 24h later.

As Carl said therefore, it depends how you’ll use it. For me, I download and watch every single “game in 40”, which is each game in full without any of the ads etc. So for I get good value out of it.

Game Pass felt like a total rip for me this year but that’s only because the Broncos sucked balls and were either on too late for me to watch their games live or I just watched RedZone anyway which is on Sky.

Look at what you get for your money though and it’s a great deal by any comparison, I’ll 100% renew later this year.

Matt Stafford - Jared Goff trafe seems bizarre to me. Why would detriot do that? All we have been hearing from Osi on BBC past few seasons is that Goff needs McVay in his ear to coach him through games. Stafford is the superior QB.

Edit: i only found about this yesterday.

Also a theoretical question for the thread. If Ridgers decided he had enough of the Packers and wanted to add to his SB ring tally. What team would be ideally setup for him to do that next season? Remember theoretical question.

Because Stafford is an average QB that won't help them win, they don't have a team ready to win now and could do with the extra picks that the Rams gave them.

What is the context, in that scenario is he supposed to be traded or move as a free agent? If money isn't part of your question than literally any team that has at least an average defense and more than one high level receiver, for example the 49ers.
