I'm a huge Martial fan, but I have to come to accept he is not good enough. Last season was a fluke, just hit good form, something clicked and it worked out great.

But this is more of the Martial we have seen at United. Time to move on I'm afraid.

He should be finished at the club. He has good spells, though I can’t remember when his last was. Top plays can have poor weeks, Martial has poor seasons.

Not good enough. Couldn’t do shit against two of the worst teams in the league. OGS has to stop starting him in league games at this point in the season.

Always hot and cold, and when he’s cold looks like he gives zero fecks.

Not been good enough, never lived up to his potential and is ultimately a let down.

All the attack was poor today...

Rashford was poor when he came left too...

But the difference is, rashford was getting on the ball, making runs, trying to beat a man.... but the quality was off...

Whereas Martial, as usual, just offered absolutely nothing... no running, no effort, no guile... just nothing..

In terms of regular starts, has been for me our worst player this season... dreadful in pretty much every league game.

And we are way past the stage when Ole has to take a lot of the blame for keeping on playing him.

The fact he wasn't losing his mind at the ref and linesman over that corner that should have been in the first half tells you all you need to know about his character.
I doubt he even knew what the score was during the game

Was a massive fan for a while. THought he'd turned the corner as a striker last season.

Would sell him for 20 mil at this point. It's actually ridiculous how lazy he is. How can you be a footballer and not make any runs at all, Shaw shows more intent to get in the box than this joke of a player. Every time a cross goes in I know we're unlikely to score as one of our attackers is never in the box

Some of the blame is on Ole for playing an out of form player in a position said player hates. Martial was garbage though. About as dangerous as a balloon sword.

If any club comes in with a decent offer, we'd be fools not to take it. He's not going to turn the corner.

Watch his movement today and it's no wonder he only has 4 league goals all season. Woeful.

If any of you people can see the midfielders aren’t looking for him neither is the main attacking outlets Rashford & Bruno it’s a no brainer that he won’t be involved and since the others are losing the ball constantly he is the playing it safe most of the time.

Last season he was the main man before Bruno and when Rashford was injured this season is all about Bruno Rashford and Cavani it’s easy to understand why he’s playing like he’s playing.

If his attitude is that shite then we shouldn't really be playing him at all.

Fed up with this cnut.
Plods about the field like a sobbing kid just because Cavani took his position. He doesn't have the right attitude to play for Man United. He's like Depay in that he'd probably thrive at a club where he's like a God to the inferior players.

What is the issue with him? I thought that after breaking that 20 goal barrier last season, he would take things to another level this year. But he's done the opposite. Similar to that 2nd season of his in 2016/17. The only difference being that he was 20 years at the time, dealing with a new manager who took his number 9 and gave it to Zlatan and he also had some relationship troubles at the time.

He's got none of these excuses this time around. In fact, he's got his number 9 shirt back, has a manager that has full faith in him and he's 4-5 years older. Therefore, he has no excuses this time around or that 'he's only a youngster' card any longer.

Watching the TV or is it watching me
Poor but still comfortably our least bad attacker.
Because he did the sum of absolutely nothing can't be bad if you don't try anything is that what you are going for with this comment.

Rashford wasn't at his best today but he was at least committing defenders, making runs, looming to link with the full back, Martial did nothing and then looked like he couldn't be arsed for most of the game.

I thought he'd really kick on after his breakout year last season, but he is even worse now than what he was under Jose

His lack of movement is the killer. Neville pointed it out during the game. He wants everything to feet, he doesn't work the fullback at all, he's so fecking static. I bet fullbacks find it easy against him.

Not good enough movement wise. So reactive and not proactive.

I think we have to sell him perhaps.

Yea terrible movement.

I think he is one of those players that just cannot push himself.

Shouldnt even be near the starting lineup at this point. We desperatly need to get in a player like Sancho to replace him cause this awful "shape" of his is hurting us badly. Just dont understand whats going on with him tbh, is it something mentally or why isnt he performing??

I think that Cavani coming along might be it. Similar to when Zlatan came along. If he can't up his game and see the opportunity in learning from a much better player in Edinson, then he's at the wrong club. We're not a little pond, we're a large ocean. As you say, he'd thrive at an Everton type club. Time to get rid before he stinks the place up to point it transcends to younger players.
