A disgrace of a performance and had no ideas. Side pass, side pass, back pass. Oh, we need to score, let’s try in the final minute and actually score and we hit the post! I’d say it’s a shame we’ve dropped points against a very poor team again when our rivals have lost, but that’s what we do isn’t it? Every. Single. Time.

Another game that sums up United this season: dominated the game but could easily have lost it, due to the Chuckle Brothers in central defence. Every single game they make schoolboy errors. I said after West Ham that Maguire and Lindelof are a far bigger problem than De Gea, and I stand by that. Lindelof ragdolled for the early goal; Maguire falling over himself second half and leaving his man clean through. We have to win each game at least twice because of those two. West Brom could have mugged us today, with better finishing. We need two commanding centre backs of the Ferdinand/Vidic ilk if we are to challenge.

Up front Martial and Rashford were abysmal; Cavani was given nothing to worth with.

Not good enough; not clinical enough. Sloppy, soft, lightweight.

I hate to say it but Rashford and Martial are just so poor at the moment, they need dropping and Greenwood was a breath of fresh air when he came on, top 4 doesn’t look certain now, we’ve got a real tough few fixtures coming up.

Games like this show how much we are lacking quality in CM. Bruno was coming so deep due to lack of control and creativity of Fred and McT. So ragged in the last 20 mins. Too many guys out of form. In a rut for a while now. Will get better again but need to buy a CB and a quality CM in the summer.

Weak all round.
Rashford constantly running down brick walls.
Martial. Anonymous
Cavani. Anonymous
Fernandes. Looked like he needs a rest. (Good goal though)
Maguire playing on the front foot was a good option. Defensively he was shite as well.

Performance deserved no more than a point. Huffed and puffed throughout and the West Brom keeper underworked.

Another eventful match for Captain Maguire, from almost gifting the 3 points to West Brom on 77th minute (thankfully DeGea balled him out) to almost the likely winner deep into injury time.

A real battle on Uniteds hands to secure a top 4 finish now and I'd hope the result today and at home to Sheffield United proves there is no easy games for this group of United players.

We're just not that great tactically, we have players that can make a difference but Inshallah (hope for the best) football can only get you so far.
Exactly. God help them if somebody actually coached them. The defence is a shambles, they don't know who to pick up, cannot play offside to save their lives. The midfield rely on Bruno or Paul and Scott and Fred are both water carriers, you only need one of them in a side. The forwards don't move, no anticipating, no breaking their necks to get on the end of a ball, everything has to be a pinpoint pass.

Fred is not good enough on the ball for this team. We need a proper midfielder.

Maguire put both Fred and McTominay to shame with his sense of urgency and progressive play.

Bruno gives the ball away far too often. Very annoying.

Shaw is our only world class player.

Piss off, I said nothing about our performance. I totally concur that we were shit. Still doesn’t mean we weren’t cheated out of three points. Ref was appalling all game.
He was.
United were even more appalling all game.
Its not the refs fault we are shite and were set up poorly.
Even if WBA had a goal from a dodge decision United should've been able to beat them

Five points dropped against the shittest two teams in the league- we’re a long way off competing for the league!

It’s about time the fans, and more importantly the board, realised that Ole and his ridiculously inexperienced coaching staff have taken us as far as they can.

Too slow and no urgency in the first half. Granted must have been a difficult day weather-wise to put yourself in a heightened state of urgency and pressure to win a game of football. But then again isn't that why they are paid £200,000 a week? I've always believed in Martial and thought eventually he would come good but I'm giving up now he just isn't up for it. Rashford's decision making wasn't so bad today, him and Bruno the only ones trying to make things happen along with McT. AWB is a good defender but just doesn't have the intelligence to be a threat attacking wise. Greenwood was promising when he came on, should have started.

On the other hand I don't understand how anyone can like Burnley Sam Dyche or Sam Allardyce football. People watch football for entertainment, he might save teams from relegation but it's an absolute shitshow to watch. Most people want to spend their weekends watching a game of football not a well drilled para unit defending two banks of four in their own box. Leeds have proven this season it's not the only way to play against better teams. Mourinho, Allardyce, Pulis, Dyche - horrible boring joyless football.

yet again.. unless Bruno has a brilliant game, we are clueless. some very very ordinary performances but the fact is, Ole has no Plan B. Well, he does but it's the same as Plan A with different players. He never changes the tactics. A lot of players aren't good enough for United, and Ole is never going to be s great manager. the XI that finished the game should have started the game.

Yes, we almost won it at the end but in fact Bromwich had the two best chances of the second half. OK, one of them was probably a foul but Maguire should have cleared it long before he was fouled and I'm wondering if he didn't get a call from DDG - I really feel DDG is weak at that too (although the save from that chance was good). Just heard Maguire say that the ref said he would have given the foul...

Clearly, City are going to win the league but I'm not convinced yet that we will finish top four. Too many ordinary players turning in ordinary performances. We never got the ball to Cavani at all. As for the penalty not given, I think Maguire was offside so probably wouldn't have been given anyway.

Yet again we made a side that will be relegated look half decent and that sums up our season

Poor performances have started to catch up with us. Can we rely on other teams not improving their own form is the question.

Chelsea game is going to end up a huge one.

Dog sh!te performance. We are very worrying at the moment, don't look remotely competent in defence and now the forward players are struggling. Newcastle then two HUGE games v Chelsea and City. Not confident at all the now.

This one was on Solskjaer. The longer he persists in starting Martial and Rashford on the flanks the further down the league we'll go.
Ole is beginning to think he is some sort of footballing psychologist who can get the best out of players by playing them into form, sometimes they just need dropping to bring them to their senses.

I don’t normally comment on the match but that was a shambles.
devoid of ideas going forward, we really are hopeless against a team that sticks 10 men behind the ball.
baggies really should have won it, they had some great chances that they really should have put away

We are a Top 4 side at very best. Win a trophy, we have to get to a final first, not be capable of getting past a semi-final so far. The character of this side is all wrong, far too nice and soft and cuddly.
With this rate of losing and drawing against bottom feeders. I am losing faith of top 4, I am not even confident we can beat City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Leicester and etc. I won't be surprise that we miss out of top 4. If we miss top 4, Ole should be sack. He is obviously not the man.

All things considered, it's City's title this year, so United just need to finish in the Top 4.

It was a crappy match to watch and they only have themselves to blame. But United are still second so only City have collected more points in the league this season. Forget about today as quick as you can, it's not worth getting annoyed about.

I’m so bored of playing teams that play that way. You could make a fecking 10 minute YouTube montage of Sam Johnstone lying on the ball after making a routine catch.

Not buying a winger in the Summer has bitten us here. We bought two youngsters who are nowhere near the 1st team, and when the majority of our attack output comes from the wings we rely in AWB and a right footed rashford crossing it in.

That and signing a CB too, considering we don't have a partner for Maguire. Top 4 fight to focus on and accept another City title. Rinse and repeat for 21/22 when no real changes are made
Glazers and Ed penny pinching means we will never be a really top team with realistic title ambitions

Apart from he shouldn't have been there in the first place, he was rooted to his line again when they scored. That cross comes in, he's stood flatfooted and useless, if he comes out a little there's a chance he blocks it.
Instead he stand and watches and doesn't react until its past him.
Then comes the look of confusion we've seen countless times the last few seasons.
Other than that, nothing.
De Gea has been piss poor for two years and I fairly (imo) criticised him all week after Everton, but that goal was never his fault. He can’t do anything when probably the weakest defender in the league lets Diagne run all the way round him to score. He actually saved us from losing with that double save from Diagne, who should have scored 4 goals and deservedly won them the game. We deserved nothing from that.

Is what it fecking is... we’re a limited top-4 team and we’re gonna end at least a good 10-15 points behind City. Those thinking or expecting otherwise will be let down gravely.

Thing with Ole is we’re operating in streaks under him - both good and bad. Now we’re in a bad one. One league win in five. Not good enough, but neither is the squad.

We’re inconsistent, weak in defence and over-reliant on Bruno in attack. It’s for all to see. Maguire is never an 80mil. player and our defence is not even a tiny bit better compared to if we hadn’t bought him, and instead kept Smalling. That’s insane. He’s not brought stability, he’s no orchestrater and purely looking at him alone, he’s got some glaring weaknesses that the world’s most expensive defender shouldn’t have. Same with Lindelof - he’s filled with weaknesses to exploit.

On to the next underwhelming game...

Story of Ole's time here, good 15 games, bad 15 games. He is not consistent enough to us to anything serious. Loads wrong with that game, still a Maguire and Lindeloff pairing when he could of put in Tuanzabe to boost his confidence, cannot be worse that what we currently have. Ridiculous double pivot against a team that conceded 19 goals in 5 games at home, Ole needsnto be braver against lesser teams. So slow from the beginning as usual, took us 40 mins to do anything. Second half was pathetic, no killer passes. I hate the DVB has been destroyed, he looks nothing like was last season at Ajax and even the first 10 games here, his confidence has been depleted. Rashford is probably the most annoying player we have, bags of talent but no brain. In the 93rd min, edge of the box blasts it into a WBA defenders legs, wasted chance. Martial was rubbish as usual, Greenwood looked lively and Cavani was feeding on scraps. With Fred and Mctominay, we have 2 oit of 3 midfielders that cannot even pass a ball at a premier level, we essentially play 9 men most games with them there. Im not sure why we need two players to run around like headless chickens. Another 2 points dropped, title handed to City and we are fighting for 4th. I said it a month ago, expect a downward spiral, this is the only consistent thing about Ole, do well for 15 games, do bad for 15 games.

Another disgraceful sleepy start to a game and yet again a very early goal conceded, 83 pissing seconds ffs... . You almost expect it now.

Lindelof was weak on the Goral but he was clawed in the face, it looked a clear foul to me. -
the bigger issue is we didnt react, painful slow football with zero energy and zero passion and no movement - until Bruno scored on 44 mins
second half we had all the ball and went for it but still West Brom had the best chances on the break.

martial needs to start moving if he wants to stay here as a main striker. Hes far to static And offered nothing today... Rashford is wasted on the right. Play him left and give greenwood a run on the right whilst Martial can sulk on the each And consider where hes going next.

Missed Pogba today.

Greenwood looked fantastic when he came on. Rashford looked an actual footballer on the left. United looked better.

It's almost like..wait..having a striker that doesn't score, assist, keep the ball or create chances hampers our attack.

Usual suspects will get blame ie martial n central defenders,as they should, but I thought bruno was poor as well. He scored a nice goal but his influence on game was minimal. Dare I say we actually missed the creativity of pogba today.
