Dyche is very clearly a great coach though? His style of football is not particularly interesting but he’s built a steady PL team on a tiny budget.
I didn’t understand that too. Dyche is very possibly a better manager than Hasenhuttl. He has the lowest budget in the league. Even signing a foreign player is uncommon for him. It’s unbelievable that Burnley have stayed in the PL for 5 seasons now.

Big result for United in terms of keeping Chelsea at arm’s length, so hopefully we can capitalise tomorrow against Newcastle. Six points with a good GD lead would be a nice margin for error.

I thought Chelsea were an oddity today – controlled in possession, generally solid at the back, but imaginative up front. Saints had the best chance to nick the win. Tuchel has started well though.

Nah, it will be goal fest, red cards, fouls penalties, everything football fans want, will be remembered as best game in history of the PL.
God, I can talk lot of crap, can I?
We need another Matt Lowton goal. I am actually more hopeful of Burnley than WBA. Depends how brave Big Sam is. You don't talk crap.

Yes. I understand, you think he’s great.
Not really. But I don't need to invent reasons to put him down, when, even after a horrbile run, he's got Southampton around the place the squad belongs.

But that’s the point. He has them around where that squad belongs. Yet if you read about him on here you’d think he was the second coming. He’s an alright manager doing an alright job.

If Fulham win tonight they will be dragging Newcastle right into that relegation fight. If we beat them Steve Bruce will be in big, big trouble.

He’s got them where they’re meant to be though, despite a bad run, as if a bad run has nothing to do with him.

That's not what I wrote. Even though as per usual people use the current low point as if it is the only point of reference to judge him they are still, at this moment, in an okay place in the table.

That's not true. We battered them 9-0 and you still had people clamouring for him to manage United. He's doing ok, not brilliant, not terrible.

The other half of the forum, who classes everyone who isn't coaching one of the top 5 clubs in Europe as "hipster" does.

Even if it were being played in the 3rd division, people wouldn't tune in for that Burnley- WBA game. It's a bad product for tv. Almost as bad as when City plays.

That's a great result for Utd, chelsea drawing at Southampton.

Win tomorrow and we go to Stamford Bridge 6 points in front of them, a draw would do there.

Would agree if we didn't have another couple of teams chasing us as well

This game feels like a throwback to a time forgotten, from the style of play between the two teams to the stadium it’s been played in.

Now it is if Burnley know how to stretch the play.
Their win over Norwich last year accompanied a really poor performance against 9 men. Took a Chris Wood screamer and a ridiculous own goal by Godfrey to win them the game. Created next to nothing otherwise.

Think they are missing Chris Wood as their focal point.

The red card has taken this down a notch.

And it wasn't a particularly high level to start with.
