Ole is getting so much wrong.

Playing the same back 4 with De Gea and conceeding set pieces and crosses every game being the most criminal one.

Lindelof with 0 tackles won, 0 headers won, 0 interceptions and 1 clearance. Challenging Martial for activity monster.

    Greenwood > Martial

That's honestly the only thing I can see us doing before the 80th minute or so.

Our midfield is really poor and our CBs have always got a few to give away at any given moment.

Only AWB and DDG can hold their head up after that.
de gea nearly cost us as well.

Bar Rashford's briliance for the goal we have been dire. Some serious words are needed at half time because if this continues we will lose this match.

In terms of overlapping runs to help James, AWB is so so fecking lazy. fecking tragic
We just play so cautiously. Fullback hesitating to overlap, midfielders sitting 5 yards infront of the CB and don’t budge an inch. Attack and midfield is always massively disconnected.

I just hate the way we play, so negative and relying on individual moments.

Only one word to sum up that half performance from United... pathetic.

Quality of possession was shockingly bad. Going through the line up...

De Gea - Has done well, no problem
    Lindelof - OK
Maguire - OK but should have put that ball out for a cross
    Shaw - Didn't notice him
    AWB - As above
Fred - Too many bad passes, gifting possession... POOR
Fernandes - OK but want more from him
    Matic - OK
    Martial - Anonymous
    Dan James - Anonymous
    Rashford - Best player

Too much average or shite there... we're supposed to be trying to keep the fecking thing at least respectable but based on that it's more like we're more interested in being drawn into a top 4/Europa League battle. Shocking, shocking half. Highly embarrassing.

We're so pedestrian in midfield. Shaw is our most creative oultet by a mile and he's a left back.

Not so solid, how are we conceding possession and allowing Newcastle to get into dangerous areas!!!!

Every team knows that if they go at our defenders they might get something...damn!!!!

Weak all over the pitch.. and no fight in this team

A simliar performance by Man United 2nd half and more points will be dropped.

I seen Newcastle in some recent games and they didn't play tonights pressing game in any of them, can they keep that going for 90 minutes?

Greenwood on please. Then if Martial doesn’t start moving, move Mason centrally and get Amad on
    I’d get them both on
Martials favourite move is to walk the ball to the man he eventually passes it to, leaving us with no target man in the box and all our attackers in one space

TBH how are we supposed to create chances with no real threat from our no.9 or winger. Who is supposed to be in the box?James literally doesn't even combine with AWB. There is no threat from our team. I used to think it was midfield, its not, its our attack.

    There’s a thing called a number 1 and a number 2 GK .

At the moment whether we agree or not Ole has DDG as his number 1 . This will not change this season.
There's also thing called accountability for poor performances.
Plus, did u see the Newcastle goal?
I rest my case, most keepers come for that cross.
It's only our coaching staff who think it's normal to pay a guy the highest wages in the entire league to stand there like a statue any time a cross comes near his area.

If they genuinely can't notice how much this is hurting us then we don't deserve to win anything.

Goal is on Martial and Matic.

After Maguire heads the ball away, Fred goes to chase it down.

Martial and Matic just watch what happens.

This is really poor from the team, disjointed in possession and always looking like an accident waiting to happen when the ball goes in behind or in the channels. Get a really good goal out of nowhere and then blow it with some typically shocking defending.

Most important 45 minutes of the season coming up.

Chelsea and City coming up, that is likely 0 points. We need the buffer that 3 points here gives us.

Extremely poor first half performance. Slow in the build up. Way too many touches. Poor off the ball movement. No urgency. Hopefully these players can elevate several notches in the second half.

    James' first half:
Receive the ball on the wing, run to the byline, turn around, run back to where he received the ball. Pass it backwards.

Mason needs to get in asap.
To be fair if you look at the cross that he puts that the keeper half spills and catches it after just take a look at Martial’s attempt to get into the box .

Horrendous half, Matic and Fred aren't at the races in midfield, Martial is offering nothing, James is limited in this type of game and we've conceded another defensive clanger.

I'd really like to see a half time change, Mason on for Martial and then Amad on for James at 60 minutes.

I didn’t expect much effort by Martial and I can report to all caftards around the globe that he has not exceeded my expectations.

James put a couple of balls in but we had nobody running in the box, if he’s going to cross it he needs a striker on the pitch.

When you see Martial, James and Matic coming out you fear the worst. Anything just be better now than Martial and James.

Guarantee there’ll be calls for James to come off for Amad

Yet Ole has been criticised for playing James in a game where there’s no space for James to run in to. Yet what is Amad going to do if he comes on......try to run into space that isn’t there and he’ll get praise for it because he is the CAF’s new love child.

For what it’s worth I think James has been one of our best players in the first half, playing positive and wanting to go forward yet there’s no attackers in the box for him to cross the ball to
Hes better on the ball and can actually beat a player. James has nothing but pace.

I have a feeling how Ole is just desperate for James to succeed. He is shit 5 games in a row, play one good and goes straight in first 11
He'd scored in 4 games in a row hadn't he? You could argue he deserved his chance against a team like Newcastle, when no one has claimed that spot.

I'm optimistic that we'll win too if we put some pressure on them. We're just making to really hard for ourselves.

We know what James is good at and that’s playing into space, it was always clear he wouldn’t get that tonight. I worry with oles judgement if he expected a great performance from him tonight.

Honestly Martial deserves even more criticism than he gets. Having a Lukaku like season.

And they still won't acknowledge it. Our only midfielder who can pass. Also he clears more crosses and corners than anyone in this team
fecking idiots. I'd ban most of these clueless Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime that post in the Pogba thread to have a go
