Would you count the FIFA games or pro EVo games? CoD? Because that's bound to be the most popular answer otherwise.

I've tried most Final Fantasy games, not finished them all of course, but it was interesting to see how the genre evolved and some systems (FF5 I think for instance?) were very flexible and fun comparatively

Those the only ones I've finished as well, so "snap". Chrono trigger feels like an FF game that never was, thematically and otherwise, you ever finish that?

I'd consider Final Fantasy my favourite serious as I've pretty much played all 'of em bar a few of the shit newer ones but I'm pretty sure Football manager is easily the one i've pumped the most hours into going by my steam account.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10-2, 12, 13, 13-2, 13-3, 14, 15, Type-0, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, FF7 Remake, dissidia 1&2, FF tactics, Tactics Advanced, mystic quest, crystal chronicles, World of FF & after years I think I've played but can't remember.

Has to be Football Manager for me, at least in terms of hours. In terms of game count, Final Fantasy narrowly wins, especially if you count the FFX/X-2 and FFXII remasters as separate games.

Do you count FM? As that's another yearly sequel, why don't you remove AC as that pretty much comes out every year. Why don't we remove Mario games as there's one out every few years. You see what you done. You had a great idea for a thread and then started adding silly rules to it.

Probably fifa, played it from 98 to 2019 so a good 21 years solid.

Call of duty I reckon I've played about 5 or 6 of them.

Gran Turismo I've played them all

Played most of the Halos and Gears although much less than the rest.

Football manager was a mainstay for over 10 years as well I'd guess at.

In total hours it might be GTA. Wasted tons of time in Elder Scrolls 4 & 5 just fooling around apart from the main story much like in GTA, but I don’t think it’d be enough to edge it.

edit: on 2nd thought, it might not even be close.

FIFA I played from International to 2002 (9 Games) and then from 2010 to 2018 (9 games plus WC2010) so thats 19 games in total... so it'll definitely be that.

I've only played 9 Pro Evo games (PES to PES2009 + the latest one)... and 15 CM/FM games (Nine games from CM2 to 03/04, and then FM05/06/07/08/10/12) ... yet I have the more love for those two over FIFA (and FM probably will have the most hours of my life, though PES would run it close as it's pretty much all I played on the PS2)

Non football games... I've played every GTA (inc. London and Stories) so probably that.

EDIT - just remembered three other FIFA games I had/played... the first FIFA Street, FIFA Premier League All Stars and World Cup 98... so that total goes up to 22.

Uncharted, I've played and replayed those games quite a few times. I've played both Read Dead games around 4-5 times. I also used to be a big fan of the old Prince of Persia titles from Ubisoft and Splinter Cell series.

Destiny would probably be up there even though it is 2 games and I've not played in years, as the time I did play it and the sequel was very long.
