Was Lindelofs foul for Tuanzebe’s goal the correct decision?

If that was the other way round we'd be going ballistic if it stood.

The most I could say is that if Lindelof had done that in defense and we had conceded a goal, the goal would have stood to advantage the non-fouling side. But you can't be getting the player and not the ball with a knee to the head.

I am glad that she showed some guts and didgo thru the opposing player though I don't think he meant to injure him.

It was one hell of a leap - look at the height he got. To me it was totally accidental - not sure it would have been disallowed in the Prem

The question should be why he felt the need to jump knee first towards a defender. I know he's shit at heading the ball but this takes the piss

I like the fact when the ref went to look at it he took one look and went "Ok that was insane " and immediately disallowed the goal and booked Lindalof

If we were playing Sevilla, 3 players would have been down, crying as if their dog got killed and waving imaginary red cards at the ref for that one foul.

There was no way that goal could have stood. Too much height, too much contact between the knee and face. It was accidental in some ways, but would have been given a foul by VAR in any league.

Foul, but oddly I respect Lindelof a bit more after that...
And then I think of poor Tuanzebe who could have used that goal to boost his confidence and get angry again...
Vicious cycle.
