Brilliant performance. Deserved the win. Better chances throughout, they are always dangerous but we defended really well, and countered well. Could've been sharper as always, but still did really well especially in the 2nd. We killed the game excellently after getting the 2nd goal.

Ole just has the beating of Pep.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
We were proper good for about 20 minutes after the second goal. Rashford and Martial both should have scored. 3-0 flattered them. That’s two quality attacking sides we’ve gone to and played a high line...maybe we don’t need a CB

Fan bloody tactic. Great game, every one worked hard for that. Shaw fantastic again, martial finally played well - AWB outstanding against sterling (again)
started so well and caught them napping - played really well second half, i will even forgive Fred giving the ball away umpteen times.
buzzzzzzzzing.

Ole schools Pep...

Quality win. Thought we would be up against it the whole game but watched it pretty comfortably to be fair. A couple of missed chances to win it earlier but good performance.

So happy. Been keeping an eye on the chasing pack, so we actually needed the 3 points.

Shaw was amazing. Glad to see Martial have a really good performance.

Defence and goal keeper good. Just damn happy!

With a true goal scorer in our team we would definitely be challenging this 'amazing' City team in the league.

Great all round. A bit of a spell in the first half where things got a big ugly and we don't have that CM that can slow things down like we've had with Scholes or Carrick in the past but a strong 90 minutes.

Dan James we quiet but I was actually really impressed with him, he even gets his head on things.

Only negative was that Martial didn't bury that easy chance.

What a performance. Said all I have to say in the match thread, but that was sensational.

Well done lads! :)

Very happy with that.
Mctominay and Fred were good defensively but their passing - particularly Fred's - put us back under pressure.
Martial's best game in a long time. But he needs to start scoring.
I thought Dan James had a very good game. Hes starting to make better decisions going forward and combined that with his high work rate.
Ok, City were poor in front of goal but the back 4 were excellent and Shaw outstanding.
Hendo does not deserve to lose his place but I expect he will.
This was a great win, hopefully we can kick on a bit and make top four and second place comfortable

The enigma that is the current Manchester United team.

Up there with the worst performance I've seen on Wednesday to a well deserved victory at City. Makes no sense. Totally bonkers.

Everyone played well. Back 4 were solid. Maguire broke through the lines multiple times. McTominay was once again an imposing presence in the centre. Martial turned up. Henderson was solid.

We needed that......

It's a official this group of United players can lose to the worst in this league (Sheffield United) and comfortably beat the best on a 21 game winning run.

Outstanding result and performance. Full credit to Ole, got his tactics, game plan and match ups spot on to keep this unbeaten away run going in style.

The narrative that United don't score against the traditional top 6 binned and replaced by they don't concede against them!

The one black spot was Rashford going off injured. Fingers crossed nothing serious

Against attacking teams we are one of the best.

Against defensive teams we are one of the worst.

Wasn't expecting that at all! The players definitely put a shift in

Passing was a bit iffy at times and playing out from the back still makes me a nervous wreck. We somehow manage to pull it out of the bag when the pressure is on.

Should have put two more passed them.

Hope rashers is not too badly injured.

The difference when we play a team that plays a high line. It leaves loads of space for us. Dan James was exceptional today.

It is when teams sit back that we struggle.

Great result, good performance. Especially as the match went on we were able to keep the ball better compared to first 30 mins or so I thought. At least we tried to beat the press.

Didn't see this performance coming, especially after Palace mid-week. That second half was great - deserved the three points.

Shreeve's bringing up Bruno's celebration in the interview, that he's been doing for years, trying to make it out to be something about media negativity I'm sure. Such a bellend

Brilliant. feck off City.

So many positives from that; Martial, Shaw, Henderson, the centre backs and goalkeeper as a unit. Just great to see, particularly against those dickheads, and I hope it wakes us up and kicks our season back into life.

If there's one negative it brings home just how bad our performances have been recently and the points we've thrown away have been criminal. Still, great day and let's kick on.

That's as good a United performance as you are likely to see. Phenomenal. Let's build on this now!

You've beaten City, now you shouldn't be afraid of anybody. Really like Henderson, the defence looked far more assured with him there.

I think they're scared of us. Pep's comments before the game were a bit odd. They played without any confidence.
