On Pep that.....another of his infrequent but famous brain farts.
The team selection was wrong from the start, and im not convinced he understands what the Derby means.....you play your best players in your best 11.
bloody hell, after that, i'm actually worried for the rest of the season. southampton is now huge!
Just the 11 points then.
Wrong team from the start , worst still, we’ve given game shows up and down the country a reason to shoehorn a rag question in, cheers!
fecking embarrassing what this Gollum **** has done to us.
fecking embarrassing once again, at least we won the big one in the carabao Cup feck off
Pep should watch the gurning hobbits face at full time and take it personally .
Pep bottled it today and this is what will happen in CL.
We still have cushion and er should win title soon but Chelsea and Leicester will try same thing
Kev shite yet again, sterling is a rag, Jesus I've got no words
Pep again playing a slow midfield against United. I have no idea why he continues to do this
The reason the derbies are more peaceful here Pep is because you're yet to actually give a feck about them
This isn't an ungrateful post, I'm not overreacting, it's just true. He doesn't treat this fixture with the respect he treats, say, Liverpool.
Meh. Combination of factors that led to the defeat and I'm still satisfied that we have beaten them when it mattered in the Cup Semi final
We’ve allowed once again, the likes of Martial, Shaw, Mctominay, Wan Bissaka and Daniel fecking James get one over us AGAIN in a derby. Pathetic.
We’re giving them derby win after derby win without them fecking doing anything for it.
fecking awful. Why can't we put these cnuts in their place.
Looked like we played 180mins this morning on moss side Sunday league then popped over to the Etihad for a kickabout.
Genuinely horrendous.
Pep doesn’t give a flying feck about derby games and it shows. fecking terrible today absolutely embarrassing
Frustrating but it’s their cup final now. Let them have their day we will have the trophies.
How you can go from winning 21 on the row, demolishing teams, then play like this. It's fecking bizarre.
The red shite weren't shite today and well deserved that win
Apart from around 25 minutes overall we weren't at it and certainly not defensively
Too many of of ours had a poor game
Well done pep, scared shitless of that lot, you will never fecking learn
They were the better team today and really if Martial had scored that chance to make it 0-3 we wouldn’t have been able to have any complaints about a 0-3 score line at home to these cnuts being flattering.
They deserved 3 points, what more can you say?
Horrible performance, starting with Pep messing with the line up, Jesus WTF penalty giveaway, slow start, wasteful upfront, defensive mistakes (Martial clear on only Ederson to save it at 2-0).
It could have been worse than 0-2 loss.
Fail to beat Soton or Fulham or both and our lead will go something like 7-8 points, after it could have been something like 15. No need for that.
Pep is such a genius. But sometimes i just have to say “feck off with this big game shithousery”
Pep I love you but we lost this all down to you. Fooking stupid tactics & stupid not reacting. Embarrassing. Plse learn the derby matters to the fans
Not City's day today. That is all. Southampton will catch it on Wednesday.
It sucks but bad results happen. When United did the league and CL double in 07/08, a midtable City side did the double over them.
ducking hate these feckers
pep needs to see what this game means to us
Out thought by the bus driver again
No speed in the starting 11
I'm fecking angry; these are our hated rivals, how dare they put in such a shit performance. It might not matter to them, but it matters to the fans
maybe just maybe they aren’t as bad as people would like to think. Their whole set up is exactly what we struggle against pace on the counter and giving away that pen just killed us. Pep is not scared but is human and made a mistake. It happens. Southampton Now fecking huge
I’m sure we’ll go on to win the league and maybe another trophy or two but honestly Pep our home derby record is fecking disgusting. Does he not give a shit over the derby? When is he gonna learn from it

Why are we always so bad against this rubbish United team. Embarassing
Fuming with that.
Derby game against our closest rivals and we didn’t look arsed at all.
Shameful.
Pep got it wrong
Sterling got his stage fright
KDB wasn’t ready
Foden came on too late
Anthony Taylor is definitely a rag
Disappointed with performance more than the loss. Looked leggy. Rags better then us today. Meh
Anthony Taylor, you bald fecking bent rag ****.
Kev looks angry all the time. Something's up.
Frustrating, we've just beat some tough teams and go and lose to that lot.
Anthony Taylor should be put in the stocks. Wanker every time.
We need to take our medicine, go again against Leicester and put this behind us.
Well done Pep schooled by the ex Cardiff and Molde manager. Can we sub him for Derbies and Champions League games because he’s fecking shit at them.
Most likely pissing in the wind here but still 11 points clear mind the gap cnuts
Fair to Utd as they totally deserve the win. Not good enough today and it’s about time Jesus went and also sterling needs dropping and not being given the h Ed captains armband .Utd won there cup final. But come end of season that counts for nothing
Pep bottled it against The Rags again.
neither Mbappe or Haaland wouldn't of made much of difference. PGMOL knew what they were doing in this game
The run had to come to an end but obviously disappointing that it happened against that lot. Raz could have had a couple but 23 games against them without scoring now. Let’s not embarrass ourselves by blaming the ref, weather, fixture congestion etc. We just weren’t at it today.
We can't really have any complaints. The rags deserved their win.
Not as arsed as usual after a derby defeat. Pep should be embarrassed that he kepts getting out thought by the clueless rag manager in the derby though.
Bernardo, Ferna, Foden all should’ve started this for me.
And Walker , no brainer really , don’t know what Pep was thinking , out thought by the gurning hobbit, again.
If fans are back next season, remind me not to turn up for the Derby. Pep obviously doesn't give a feck, why should I?
1 win, 1 draw and 4 defeats to this shower of shit.
We can play a lot better
They can't
And we could still have fluked a draw
Deebies and CL quarter finals, the games when Pep loses his eternal battle with his inner smartarse
Pep may be a coaching genuius but yet again demonstrates he is a tactical imbecile.

I am sure most City fans are not that bothered about this result as they are 11 points clear with only 10 games left.

As a United fan we don't have much to celebrate this season so far apart from seeing year on year progress under Ole, so it is fun to laugh at the idiots over at BlueMoon but I can't really make myself laugh too much as they are about to walk to yet another PL title.

I had a peep earlier - wtf. They have won 21 in a row, 11 points clear, clearly going to win the prem - and they are in melt down turning on their best players and manager. Post match was 104 pages to our 8 pages a few hours ago

What a lovely day.

I think some of them would really take beating us 5-0 over winning the prem. Such an inferiority dominated bunch.

We should be moving heaven and earth to get that Norwegian cyborg to the Etihad. Dont care how shit his link up play supposedly is at least he knows where the goal is
A huge reality check. A terrible performance, possibly the worst of the season. No energy, no desire. Clueless!! As for Sterling is it me or is he regressing rapidly game on game?.
Absolutely gutted, Couldn't give a shit if we were 50 points ahead getting beaten by that bunch of wankers is sickening. Pep doesn't understand what it means to us.
ONLY Pep knows why he thought that team was capable of winning against that shower of cnuts.
a game we should have at least drawn, gives united hope for the run in,one more loss and a win for them really puts presure on
Love Pep for many things, but it doesn't require £20m a season to see what the solutions are.
He doesn't care enough about this fixture clearly, or he has again shit the bed when he considers the qualities of the opponent more than his own team.
Lucky not to concede six today.
Its my cup final as well so feck this only 3 pts shit
Credit to united,wanted it more.
Had a gameplan and could/should have scored more.
Thanks Pep. Thanks City. Thanks for saving that shitshow for today of all days, and Pep had one of his famous brain farts that he seems to save for some of the biggest matches. Walker, Foden and Bernardo should have all started
That's for all you dicks predicting a 6+ goal win so feckin rag like talk about jinxing a game hope your all feeling as bad as I am, wankers
Bad prep by Pep, Ole knows he doesn't take it seriously. Ultimately, doesn't make a dent in anything we're doing and now the records is 21 games.
Funny that we don’t get paid E20mil a year, yet we all knew what was going to happen once he picked that line up. Bizarre.
Their bragging rights will soon dissipate when they see us holding the PL trophy aloft for the 4th time since they last lifted it.
We had just won 21 in a row, were always going to lose one eventually but it just had to be to those pricks didn't it
Are we trying to keep Ole in a job fks sake
Never will underplay a derby result. Thats something arrogant rags would do. Its shit, just hope it has a positive and its the last game we lose this season.
Unfortunately predictable and one of the reasons we won't win the CL.
Don't seem to be able to change the flow of a game when it goes against us.
Like watching a Lyon repeat from last season.
The media world will be like pigs in shit
Fookin gutted :-(
how did we loose to these again!
it’s insane.
Does Pep not realise that our main rivals and our biggest fixture domestically is against these twats! No one else, but this noisy lot! No Phil again? No Silva? I mean the penalty didn't help but it was so frustrating to watch today. You need to sort out these derby performances Pep I dont care how many point clear we are. Fuming, again!
This loss and the Rags got their temporary bragging rights defo hurts. But at the end of the day, I'll still say "mind the fecking gap".
Thought we'd destroy them today.................worst result of the season so far for me.
I’m fecking sick of him not getting the team set right for the derby, mentally or tactically. How many fecking times is he going to let fecking noddy the Norwegian gnome beat him?!
It’s fecking unacceptable how shit we perform against these cnuts. They’re wank, couldn’t fecking score against palace, none of theirs would get in our first team, yet we feck up so many games against them. Why?
They won the battle but we will win the war.
Not good enough. We had started to look less imperious against Wolves and West Ham. Hopefully this is a kick up the backside and we go on another streak.
Seems like Pep sees Liverpool as the rivals and only gives a shit about them
At least if we beat Southampton and Fulham we are 17 ahead before they play again
We will win the league. But my expectations for the CL just took a hit. We are mortal after all.
PSG and Bayern will rip us if we play like that.
Thank feck that we are 11 points clear and that these rag cnuts will keep dropping points because they’re shit. I still can’t comprehend how we used to beat these feckers all the time under Mancini and Pellegrini, yet Pep shits the bed against them all the time with a much better team.
Well that was a pile of muck.
So miffed that we failed to turn up today and smash them dirty horrible cnuts.
Didn't help ourselves one bit, knowing who was reffing the game none other than Anthony Taylor the world's most famous Altrincham fan.
Also F**k Ushited can't stand the bastrads.
They won the battle and it hurts but we’re weeks away from winning the war. Those cnuts will finish below us yet again.

To be fair, their thread pages are kept very short lest they hurt their heads trying to read so many words in a row.

Well, that and a determination to infect your browser with pop up ads and autoplaying videos.

The most hilarious part of some of these comments is that some think losing to United is an embarrassment to a football club that have been relegated from the top flight 11 times in their history and only for oil money would probably be in the second division right now :houllier:

Thought of Clockwork Orange when I read this.
Then found this:
In all his writing Burgess mentions attending a football match only once, in his autobiography Little Wilson and Big God (1987). His only memory of having been taken by his uncle, Jack Tollitt, to Maine Road to see Manchester City play in 1928 was the ‘passion and obscenity’ during discussion of the game that he mentions above. ‘[Jack Tollitt] incautiously said: ‘McCabe is the best centre-forward playing anywhere.’ There was a derisory and even bitter response of feck off, is he feckin’ hell, what the feck does this fecker think he feckin’ knows about it? the answer being feck all. I was now familiar with the word in all its declensions.’

Cited fans are a confused bunch of people. They used to have a constant go at us for being successful and famous. And now that they are tasting a bit of them, they seem to not know which was to turn.

For years they've held onto this belief that their authenticity as a 'real' football club is based their grounded, local support. The rags across the way had lost their soul to money and international fame, while City remained Manchester's club - at least in their minds. And then suddenly, the success they always dreamt of having was given to them by billionaire criminals who only wanted to use the club as an advertising hoarding to the west. The moral superiority they had for so long claimed was gone, and now they're left with the hollow shell of a club. They know this, they just don't know what to do with it.

I think this is an accurate description.

The only identity left in their current franchise is hating United. They are obsessed.

Bravo, Needham. Candidate for 'Most erudite post in the Bluemoon Thread' category. Good to know in these chaotic times that your average football fan, at least, hasn't changed much in the last 100 years.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
I’m fecking sick of him not getting the team set right for the derby, mentally or tactically. How many fecking times is he going to let fecking noddy the Norwegian gnome beat him?!
Most of their stupid little names and insults are quite pathetic and remind me of what I'd write when I was 14 years old, but that one is fecking class.

He gave a goal kick one time when they should have had a corner. That was obviously the difference between the two sides and without that they would have won comfortably as they absolutely deserved to do.

One thing the result did enforce was how bad rag fans must have felt at that iconic moment - 93.20

it’s inconceivable; impossible to imagine how bad they must have felt. Think of how you feel right now even though we’re still 11 points clear with only 10 games left to play & remember how they were celebrating winning the league only to have it snatched from them in Fergie time - not by just another PL team but by.....

CITEH
These lot haven’t said a word for two months and now they can’t shut up. Ffs City hurry up and win this league to get them back in their caves
I said this yesterday, the Rags win will only be remembered as a triva question in years to come, nothing more and nothing less.
Careful that makes them relevant
I've done pretty well. Avoided all United's w*nkfest media so far. Hopefully I can make it to Wednesday, and a win against Southampton?
I'd like to see the stirling incident again for the none penalty
We'll be first and United will be second in May.
Why does Keane have to be so over critical every week.
OK Jesus gave away a penalty early on with a clumsy foul. You'd think the way Keane was talking he'd just shot someone. Tone it down a bit, i know he wants to get facebook/twitter headlines every week by totally killing players instead of offering any tactical insight whatsoever.
Kyle Walker is a clown, Eric Dier is rubbish, etc etc. is as good as it gets from Roy, and his army of fans lap it up
His head is way to big to be sat on the skinny frame of his.
He just looks wrong
Keane saying Jesus was absolutely mad crazy giving away that penalty. " What was he doing" He said. Well I will tell you what he wasn't doing Roy. He wasn't looking to break some feckers leg you twat.
Seconds earlier he says that the un*t*d players are pressing like wild animals/men possessed (can't be arsed re-watching it to clarify which), but when Jesus presses Tony Marshal and the cheating **** DIVES, apparently Jesus is crazy.
Make your mind up Roy, is it good or bad to press to get the ball back?
It was a nailed on penalty, stupid challenge
Really??
All I honestly see is a hand on a shoulder, and a dive as there's a very, very slight touch of a foot on a calf as Jesus attempts to jump over his legs to avoid contact.
I'm truly staggered that the consensus is penalty and stupid challenge.
It's about as much of a penalty as Salah's against us and two (or possibly all three) of Leicester's against us for me.
Can't stand all this "modern penalty" bullshit, it's going down when the contact hasn't forced you to go down, which for me is a DIVE and a CHEAT.
Ho-hum.
Without watching it again, Jesus caught his foot & calf both. It was a stupid challenge in our box just 35 seconds or so into the game. There is no defending it.
Congratulations Rangers coming from a very bad place ten years ago to win the title. We owe them a huge thank you as their Championship has kept our defeat off the main sport headlines. Now go on and win the Europa League Bears.
Meanwhile Sam Wallace in the Telegraph goes in hard on United. His big buddy Neil Ashton won't be pleased.
This follows up surprisingly positive stuff from Ducker.

Behind a paywall but for those who know how it should be accessible:

"There is certainly no shortage of ideas when it comes to taming the game’s billionaire arrivistes, or reworking the domestic and European game to the advantage of United and fellow storied franchises. But tick tock goes the clock. Almost eight years since Ferguson departed and no closer to a title. Season by season City are building an empire, one which United are quite capable of fighting on their resources. They just do not know how."
BBC Football website has relegated Liverpool's defeat to a side bar and wanking over Stevie Mee instead.
Hard work having to listen to Tyler & Rat Boy giving each other reach arounds today over the rags performance!
Micah giving it Keane "ok lets see where you are in May"
My sentiments exactly big man

Bet they never mentioned how Taylor blew for half time, instead of awarding a free kick when James was fouled just outside the box.
