Where the grass is greener.
Imagine still having a weird dislike of Lingard even after he's gone. He's been fantastic for West Ham, how hard is it for some people to just admit that? Clearly very.

Not saying he isn't doing a decent job for them. The reaction is completely over the top though. Hope he keeps playing well so we'll get a decent fee for him. This is exactly his level
Yeah your right that this is his level which is a team pushing for Europe in the Premier League. Hence my laughter at him being a "Sunday League" player. The reaction is over the top because the criticism wasn't only over the top but it was brainless.

Yea maybe he's not comfortable away from home like Immobile. Immobile looked horrendous at Dortmund and also struggled at Sevilla, back at Lazio he looks a top class, underrated, striker.
Yep, Immobile is a very down-to-earth young man from Southern Italy, just keep it simple and he will do his part. As a boy abroad, in a different environment, he was clearly out of his depth. Werner might have a higher ceiling as an international footballer because he is also good with assists, but his personality?

I swear to god that people only think Kalvin Phillips is good because there's about 3 players in this Leeds side who look identical to him from a distance and he appears to be involved a lot.
The bit I don't get is that he's a holding mid, in a team that are utterly crap at defending.
So why is his stock so high when he's a big part of that problem?

Lingard was absolutely dreadful in his last 18 months here and aside from a purple patch in the 17/18 season was never consistent enough for Utd.

He's been brilliant since he went to West Ham though and it's always going to be nice to see him scoring goals and doing well. Especially against the likes of fecking Leeds.

Good chance we'll get a good transfer deal for him this Summer and he can go and enjoy his football again. It's Win Win

He was gash for us and found his level at West Ham now. Think that's a fair assessment.

If we sell Lingard for £20m, it'll cost upwards of £30m to buy a replacement of equal quality.

It’s for the best, though. He’s always going to be Bruno’s understudy, and that guy plays about 50+ a season.

We seemed to be doing ok without him this entire season thus far. Lingard is being hilariously overrated and is as average as they come.

When it comes to Lingard, this is only for price before selling. And I'm glad he is doing it well.

Shame he didn't made it like we wanted to in our shirt but his quality was and is way behind players we have in that position.

Lingard is bang average, having a nice little run in a new club going well.

No hard feelings but the rewriting of his ability is a bit odd.

wickla!
can we do a swap Lingard + cash for Rice .
and Buy Rafinha, I honestly think he would be a decent player to sign . Not as big a signing as Sancho but definitely a good Alternative
