With Rashford missing that sitter and Greenwood hitting the woodwork, it could have been dos, tres, cuatro... nil.

Great back to back league wins to solidify our position. Should've won by more, Greenwood deserved a goal. Maguire was outstanding, really wanted that clean sheet after Milan.

Also we need to sign Grealish and Haaland ASAP.

Good win. One of our better games.

Oles use of subs is maddening. Not that we had many subs to use today. Just a general observation

I wish these lads will learn how to finish off teams. A lot of games this season are stroke-inducing on how fecking close they are. Never felt comfortable until that final whistle went.

I'll take a win. Not fun to watch but a win at least doesn't depress my mood.

Superb performance. We knew West Ham would come and be very defensive. We got an own goal, but created more than enough to win it ourselves. That’s the sort of performance that does grind out league titles and what City have done all season.

That doesn’t guarantee top four, but I’d be very surprised if United didn’t get it from here.

Dominated and should’ve killed them off but WH defended very well first half even though they had no ambition to win a game of football.

Players looked a bit sharper and on another night it’s 3 or 4 nil. Two superb saves from Friedel, hit the post twice, Rashford missing his header, Rashford not squaring it. Lots of positives though too.

Shaw...will not let you down.

Maguire very good.

How many shots did they have on target? 0?

Their keeper and the post saved them.

About time OG showed up.

It wasn't great but don't care really, we just need to pick up the points for top 4.

Great result, not an amazing performance but said before the game I'd take a scrappy one nil, and that we got.
West Ham didn't have a shot in target. Shaw and Maguire were excellent.

Our best passing performance of the season up until about 80 minutes I think. Greenwood deserved a goal. McTominay was good as well.

Deserved win, should've won by more than 1 but didn't have the luck in front of goal. Tough game, they came for a 0-0 and had 0 attacking intent but we did well against that, usually our weakness. Greenwood had a very good game, didn't have the luck. It'll come around. Bruno and Rashford did quite well IMO. James ineffective. Shaw very good as usual, Maguire MotM. Midfield was a bit sloppy, same with Awb but other than that good all around. Good to see our defence start picking up clean sheets regularly.

We look rock solid at the back now - and today we bossed the game. Satisfied with that game

They're a good side this season, definitely better than the 6-3-1 they were playing at 0-0, though 1-0 flattered them a little overall. They never looked like scoring and we should have had another 2.

Shaw and Maguire were excellent. Greenwood's overall play was good too, he really needs a goal.

Good game. Really should have won it by at least a couple more. Hopefully no knocks and everyone can recover well for the coming Cup games.

James made *so* many runs in behind that second half that weren't picked up.

Saying that he'd almost definitely mess up the ball afterwards, but he was the only forward showing that kind of movement which is sad.

Great 3 points though, Mason could have had a hat trick, 1-0 was incredibly flattering to WH. Pretty sure for the majority of the 1st half they were set up 6-3-1...

Good win against a tough West Ham team, having said that the hammers weren’t as good as I thought they would be. We should have won by more, some good saves by their goalkeeper and some chances we should have done better with.
Shaw is MOTM for me, also thought Greenwood had a great game up top apart from not scoring.

Really good result. Maguire was outstanding, I have never said that before. Without him, we would have lost. Also thought Greenwood was solid at times and Scott bossed that midfield without any good forward passes. Odd game, great result and amazing to end with a win before internationals for once.

Decent result in the end. We were wasteful. A bit more clinical and thats a very comfortable game as West Ham weren't at much. We had some decent chances to make the scoreline bigger than it already is.

Only concern would be no subs made. Serious potential for burnout doing stuff like that. Rashford and Fernandes both looked like they were carrying knocks. On top of that it's fairly damming for those on the bench.

The crazed OG gifted us the nervy win. Missed chances galore.

I’ve been reading the last few days here that we’re sorted at CF. This performance begs, as do many other performances this season, to differ.

 @ people in the match thread claiming we were lucky. West Ham were a joke.
Bizarre.

They were lucky to be only 1 nil down.

Decent win against bus parking twats. Maguire and Shaw immense.
Good to see Greenwood having a good game. Hopefully the ball starts going in for him soon.

Get in, another really big win, with some top performances from Maguire, Shaw & McTominay in there.

Massive result for us with the injuries we have. WH is a massive banana skin game and we saw it out. I'd taken a goal out of anyone's bum if this means we win. Hope we get some of our players back.

Should have won by more, especially when the game opened up.

Shaw, Maguire and Greenwood were very good.

Dan James was the weak link in attack.

The amount of times we put in crosses and no one was making a run is infuriating.
