You'd think we were cruising the game the way some of our players are jogging around the pitch. Awful stuff. Must step up big time otherwise we'll be going out.

Fred HAS to go off. Horrendous performance from our midfield and Dan James, would sub them all off if I could to be fair.

Don't think there are many worse midfield duos out there than that McFred combo. Makes you want to tear your hair out how these two water carriers start such important games for us
This is excarbated by the fact that James and AWB are totally useless on the ball.

This game really reminds me of the prostate inspection I had last week

Mcfred have been terrible, can’t have two midfielders so limited on the ball.

But this is a fairly average Milan team and still expect us to get through despite us making them look better than they are.

Wretched. Got to get Pogba on. We have wasted an entire half and had two shots, I think. Milan now only 45 mins away.

Game management has been very poor. We have to score and Milan scoring isn’t the end of the world. One goal for us still shifts the outcome of the tie.

Oles tactics make them force it way too much. Kick and run football will never be successful in Europe.

Rashford looks to be really struggling with his injury. Barely getting beyond a walk. Amad on for him now, Pogba early doors for Fred.

Boom can't believe it's taken this long for some to spot the problem. It's not the attack, not the defence....it's the midfield...it always has been.
Yeah sooner or later Ole will realise that is where the real problem lies

    Dreadful performance by Scot
    Bruno looks tired
    Rashford looks unfit
As per usual we have no plan
Milan are well coached and playing to a plan
10 of these Milan players won’t get into the Utd Team so we must blame the Manager for this ridiculous lacklustre performance

Serious lack of composure so far, Pogba on for mctom who has been the worst of a bad bunch in midfield so far, and someone needs to tell bruno that constantly smashing balls into the space behind isnt working and we could perhaps get the ball down and play a few passes.

    Impotent.

Playing like stupid fecking kids on Fifa pumping it to our fast forwards and seeing what happens. Pathetic.

Milan showing us what a proper football side are. A team who have more than one idea.
    Literally.

Why? Because I'm positive that we can turn this around.

There is time to score. We should have been better in the 3rd.

    Okey

3rd? We barely made it out of the 2nd. Bruno, Fred and McTominays passing has been piss poor all half long and we've created feck all because of it. One of them needs to go at HT.

That’s an awful first half performance. I’ve never seen us give the ball away for a whole half before. Low quality and can only get better in the second half as we can’t be as bad as this half, surely.

In Fred, McT, AWB and James - almost half our outfield players lack the technical ability to be playing at this level.

Some days you can carry that with energy, or tactics etc. But tonight - we just can't work with that much inability to actually play football .

    It's genuinely embarassing.

Couple that with Rashford having one of those days where he decides he'd rather not play football and we're in a world of trouble.

All that said, no more Europa league if we lose and I really view that as a net positive.

None of the midfielder or attackers have played well. I dont understand, how we can play that bad in such an important match against a Milan team, that we should be better than. Maguire, Lindelöf and Shaw have been good, but the rest....

A is a bad United day, when James is our most dangerous player.

Thought we were uncharacteristically good for the first 14 minutes. Faded quick though.
We were playing with speed and intensity, why the feck did we just stop?! Rashford and Greenwood don’t look arsed. If they’re not fit enough to run, take them off.

Looking forward to us really going for it in the last 5

So many sloppy touches in midfield it’s a joke.

Got worse as the game wore on.

Hopefully we improve in the second half as we have so many times this season.

My god that was seriously low quality first half.

Actually embarassed that this match is our European showcase.

Yes Haaland, come to Manchester and play with this lot :houllier:

The first ten minutes were promising but honestly what a dreadful first half performance.

I'm absolutely sick of hearing Savage on about us being at our best with space in behind, but that's been denied us. Robbie, most of our players couldn't pass wind tonight, we're getting pressed which surely leaves a few pockets of space to exploit if we have craft, guile and the ability to switch quickly. We have fecking none of that, technically all over the place tonight and again being shown up by a young, unfancied side.
