Well worth the multi millions for these 2 performances recently.

If only we'd got him.

Not really.

Shame from Spurs perspective that they couldn't have had him playing like this all season, they'd be in a better position for sure.

Ominous form he's in when you consider Spurs are with us in the Europa League

So he's fit out of nowhere?
Eh? What are you on about? Are you trying to suggest Bale actually has been fit this whole time but stupid Jose hasn't played him? Did you actually watch any of the games played in up until about 3 weeks ago?

Gareth is putting himself in the shop window. Be it for Spurs, Real or someone else. He's not an idiot.

He was doing the whole Zidane thing of playing him once in a purple moon and not allowing him to get any match fitness.

There's no way in hell Madrid will get him back.

If he keeps this form I guess Spurs will just buy him.

There is something in this. I watch Spurs a lot and Bales body language has been very poor until recently. If he hasn't been fit, and he hasn't, it's quite likely because he hasn't been training properly. Now he sees a situation where he's back in limbo in a few weeks and he looks a different player

Nice to see him doing well again. Absolutely top class player when fully fit.

I'm glad for him. Do you think Tottenham will want to keep him another season?

I’m sure Jose’s agent, accountant and bank manager will all agree
Money isn't everything and but if a person is doing a worse job than other people in the same industry that earn similar, then they can be labelled an idiot.

If the money argument stands then someone working 40 hours a week and struggling to get by can be seen as an idiot compared to someone making £15m a year. But someone making £15m a year can be seen as an idiot compared to Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos. It's all about perspectives.

If he keeps playing like this and maybe gets to his best then he'd be the best player at Madrid by far, so yeah they'd keep him. Horrible how Madrid treated him.

God hear you! He needs to keep his form, to see if can convince them, the season is not over yet, at the moment as you say, there are many ifs, maybes and woulds

Nothing particulary horrible about it, he got plenty of minutes for RM in the last couple of seasons, he just didnt show up very often.
The fact that he is finding his form now doesnt change that.

 Your lot doesn't want anything to do with him even if he played like a prime Raul.

No, we don't. It has nothing to do with lack of appreciation or things like that. His presence provoked a very toxic debate( mainly his bad performances and minor things like making a fool of himself on the bench) and there was no point in dragging out the situation.

A wise friend once told me that these "idiots" are the real smart ones. My boss earns £30,000 a month and he literally comes into office everyday at 2 PM and does nothing but just watch videos and talks to his mates over the phone. At 4 PM, we send him our reports and he send that over to his manager and takes all the credits.

Back to this topic, is Bale now back to his best?

I knew he would do well and it was a struggle with Mourinho and time.

He is one of my favourite players of the Messi/Ronaldo generation and for me is an underrated player that scored for me, one of the best goal of all time (it's my favourite goal of all time).

He's irritating because he has a towering athletic build and millions combined with a simpering personality and the ability to succeed in plain sight but you've got to admit that he's irritating because he has a towering athletic build and millions combined with a simpering personality and the ability to succeed in plain sight.

Has just come out and said he plans on going back to Real Madrid after this season, Strange...
Why strange? He has a contract there so why wouldnt he return. The intention was always to go to Spurs for a season play some football and get fit for the Euros. I also dont think Spurs have any intention of making it a permanent deal.
