This is a difficult pick - so many top players to leave out! I'll go with:

Van der Sar
G. Neville, Ferdinand, Stam, Irwin
Beckham, Keane, Scholes, Ronaldo
Cantona
Van Nistelrooy
Subs: Schmeichel, Vidic, Evra, Giggs, Rooney, Van Persie, Solskjaer.

1st XI - Schmeichel, G Neville, Stam, Bruce, Irwin, Ronaldo, Keane, Scholes, Giggs, Rooney, Van Nistelrooy.

2nd XI- Van der Sar, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Beckham, Cantona, Carrick, Kanchelskis, Yorke, Cole

I think the 2nd XI is a sign, if any were needed about how many great players we were able to enjoy watching over the years.

The fact that numerous people have left Ronaldo out is beyond bizzare.

Sadly he didn't stay here for as long as we would like, but he is almost certainly the most talented player to ever play for the club and is in the top 5 players in the history of the sport. Even if many of his prime years were at Madrid, he was fantastic at United and has never truly been replaced

Schmeichel
Irwin Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Ronaldo Keane Scholes Giggs
Rooney Cantona

Van der Sar
Neville Stam Bruce ???
Beckham Carrick Robson Kanchelskis
Ruud Cole
Tough to think of a 4th fullback to put in there. Silvestre? Heinze? Rafael and move Irwin to left back? Also Rooney and Cantona would both partner better with Ruud or Cole, but whatever.

/////// Schemeichal

G. Neville Ferdinand Vidic Giggs

Beckham Keane Scholes Rooney

////////////// Cantona

/////////// Ronaldo

A young Giggs should have no problem going left back. I can only imagine the scoreline if Beckham cross to Ronaldo. Two swift counter attacker from the left.
Two godlike crosser from the right
Two middle magician in Cantona and Scholes
A bull in front of the defense
Two soulmate partners in central defense
A one man show goalkeeper

This team could wallop that prime Barca 08/09 5-0 in final.

Cheat and put Sharpe in? He played a few games there as Giggs broke through. If not Silvestre I think, wasn't brilliant but have us a few years good service. Paul Parker would be another shout.

Just give Ronaldo licence to drift wherever he wants. Becks and Giggs to feed Ruud

G Neville
Rio
Vidic
Evra(Irwin almost got in)

Ronaldo
Scholes
Keane
Giggs

Rooney
RVN

Perfect 442 with no single weakness.
