And to think that Lingard might get the nod over Foden.
Only body parts that are allowed to score goals count for offside.Have the changed the offside rule again?
Gundogan's arm was offside.
EDIT: Ah right no he was on.
That's not going to happen. And to think that Lingard might get the nod over Foden.
He's a young quality player but it wasn't his best night today.Rodrygo looks awful.
They did, away goal is doubleA pity Dortmund didn't hold on for the draw. CIty will get at least a draw in Germany and Pep after how many attempts? Will finally lead City to a CL semi final.
Liverpool Real Madrid still finely balanced as Liverpool are capable of winning the Anfield match 2-0 but hopefully Madrid can close the tie out.
Liverpool couldn't even beat Brighton at home... with their home form as of late, i highly doubt they're going to win it, at best it'll be a scrappy draw with Madrid going throughA pity Dortmund didn't hold on for the draw. I think it is cowardly, personally, though the style is obviously effective. The wingers are coached to always look backwards, rather than take a risk. The number of times that they'll get a good position deep down Mahrez's side in particular, only for 3 passes later it to be comfortably in Stones or Dias' posession is staggering. Ditto on Sterling's side. You called them cowards and never answered the rebuttals.
What a match You surely enjoyed it as much as I did, and we could have scored 5, although in the end I couldn't wait for the final whistleYes @carvajal !
So if it's 0-0 in the second leg, do we get extra time? Just curious. They did, away goal is double
Is that Mark Pougatch' brother?Michael Owen is slowly morphing into Martin Pougatch.

Imagine playing a Sunday league match against a team that were superb passers of the ball, but just didn't do anything with it for literally 3-4 minutes at a time. It forces you, as a defensive unit, to be as patient as they are. Which is exhausting, mentally and physically.
I genuinely believe it's so effective because it is so energy-draining, so sapping of will to be playing football. Eventually, a defender will either tire or get so goddamn bored of it all that they'll commit and make a mistake.
Listen, it obviously works. City score tons of goals, win most matches, concede virtually no chances and dominate pretty much every game of football they play. But is it exciting? I don't think so. Effective not exciting, actually that's a good summary of City.
What kills me is that with the quality of that squad, they could really be far more fun to watch.
Liverpool have scored one goal at home in about 8 games.Nailed on for both the bin dippers and the plastics to go through next week
In a make believe world maybe, not a cat in hells chance in realityAnd to think that Lingard might get the nod over Foden.
I think he got transplant and definitely dying itMichael Owen is slowly morphing into Martin Pougatch.
Soz boysNice one @JoeyJoJoJrShabadoo
No Dortmund go through on away goals 2-2 score line.So if it's 0-0 in the second leg, do we get extra time? Just curious.
Nani, fletcher and van persie red cards level of CL scandalDortmund robbed by Ovrebo's brother.
I didn't see the game but apparently we were thoroughly outplayed. However, from what I'm hearing we started with 9 men having Mane and Keita on the pitch. If we can start with 11 (drop both players) in the second leg maybe we'll score two goals. Trent will be playing though to help with balance for Real.Real Madrid gave Liverpool a footballing lesson tonight
This pressing football system Klopp has works for playing against teams who shit themselves but when you have players like Modric and Kroos playing you can't get near them, you get exposed quite badly with that type of football
I know. It’s shocking. People on here thinking 0-0 in the second leg puts Dortmund through.Amazes me how people still don’t know the away goal rule after all these years.
If the ref at the City game hadn’t been so biased, it would have been a thoroughly swell night as a United fan.Two pretty enjoyable games I thought.
Damn, Mane that bad these days huh?I didn't see the game but apparently we were thoroughly outplayed. However, from what I'm hearing we started with 9 men having Mane and Keita on the pitch. Oh shit, Pep is going to fail again. Chasing the tie in Dortmund won't be easy.No Dortmund go through on away goals 2-2 score line.
It's staggering! It's not like its recently changed. For people posting on a football forum so much and to not understand such an old rule is baffling.Amazes me how people still don’t know the away goal rule after all these years.
Well doneNo Dortmund go through on away goals 2-2 score line.
Be quiet and let us educate folkAmazes me how people still don’t know the away goal rule after all these years.
