Even when he isn’t having the best of games he is still very neat and tidy on the ball, the goals may be harder to come by this season but there is definite progress in his all round game.

It will be a number of years before he is even close to his peak and this season is likely a better season for him in terms his learning and development than last year in many ways.

It's a big step up to lead the line for United and while he obviously has a way to go, he had some nice moments last night.

Technically a good player but I get a Martial feel from him, in that he doesn't do enough. He's not a pest or he doesn't run in behind enough.

Needs a run of games up top for me to give a fair judgment, especially when the service has been quite poor to him but I want to see him doing a bit more.

I have slated him but after seeing Michael Caulfield explain what is happening now with Covid and the psychological impact that is happening, I am going to give all the players slack. He explained in detail what happened to players especially about scoring goals.

Kept losing the ball. Needs to be sharper and stronger if he wants to be our #9. Otherwise he will be relegated to being a RW. Also not really seeing all the scrappy goals he was supposed to be getting as a CF.

Greenwoods game much improved from last season even with the reduced goal output. Greenwood's one weakness is lack of aggression but he's a very accomplished player. Bruno has gotten on his case a few times on the field for selfishness and he has improved a lot in that aspect. Link up play is very good. He will only get better when he learns to express himself more after playing with the senior players another season or two

Harsh that he’s dropped for this one.
Its our big game line up....what does it say?

a. Ole wants more creativity from the flanks.
b. He wants defensive aggression in midfield
c. He doesn't think Fred and Mctominay are ideal midfield partnership ( which is why Pogba is preferred in regular game).
d. Greenwood is being eased in

What a cross by Greenwood.

I have been surprised at criticism of him cuz I have been thinking that his game has been getting better the last month or so.

His overall game has been much better this season than last, but his finishing and shot selection has been worse than last year.

Really proved me wrong today, he was fantastic. A great threat and very hungry, more of the same. Beautiful cross, beautiful goal, happy for the lad.

Perfect response to his midweek performance and proof he's turned a corner in terms of this seasons form

Late charge to that Euro's squad on the way....

He was incredible today in changing the game. I loved how Reguilon committed so much to Greenwood's left side only for him to go the other way and smash it past Lloris with his right. He has no weak side.

Brilliant cameo from him. I'm very against him being on the right wing, but I guess I'll adjust my statement to be he can only work out on the right if it's a playmaker on the left and not Rashford. Both on the wings don't compliment each other imo. Thankfully he's very young and he'll go up and down but he'll without a doubt become a brilliant player imo.

Brilliant game. The cross was fantastic and the finish for the goal was sublime. The potential this lad has has no limits. I hope he fulfills it here.

Looked amazing when he came on in the second half. It went right for him today. He's clearly a very, very talented player and I just hope we can see a few more performances like today before the season ends.

Won us the game! His deep crosses from the right is such an underrated part of his game.

... and so great to see him smiling after his goal and when the game ended :)

Getting back into form, which is very exciting to see.
Actually he's been playing well for a while, but now starting to get goals/assists. Awesome.

Really glad he got his goal at the end. A peach of a cross from him for Cavani too.

We played much narrower in the second half and for the first time in weeks he was able to connect with his teammates thanks to this. I'm starting to think for the current squad we have, playing with width doesn't help.

Great step up in performance by him today. He knew what he needed to do when coming in for an underperforming Rashford.

Hopefully he uses this as a springboard.
