That was just brilliantly done all round.

Obviously AJ and New Day are great wrestlers but the story telling involved and then Omos just being a huge wrecking ball.

Great match.

That was fun. It's like they reversed roles with the big tag to Omos

They don't say "grandest stage of them all" much anymore.

As a demonstration of craft in a given area it’s been pretty bloody spot on and that match was genuinely wonderful.

Miz and Morrison a safe pair of hands to pull something like that off, Priest a new up and comer and fair decks to Bad Bunny, did everything expected of him perfectly. Genuinely surprising how slick he looked and that destroyer was amazing.

Crowd absolutely loved it too and that’s all that matters.

Feelgood this Mania is.

Bad Bunny was extremely over. WWE were spot on getting him. Racist Meltzer in tatters.

It’s one thing to sit there and take bumps which is very credible, but to pull off moves and keep your opponent twice your size safe. Massive kudos to him. Goldberg has done less in his all his return matches.

Why was the end cut so short? Let her celebrate. Not like they have to stick to a TV schedule.

Great match. Bianca is a star. Props for Sasha for taking the bumps.

I haven’t watched for a year so I wasn’t up to date with the story lines but it was pretty good I enjoyed it.

Some of the stories seemed ridiculous and I’m not sure Bianca vs Sasha had the star power or even hype to main event Wrestlemania but it was a decent match.

On paper tonight looks the stronger card I’m looking forward to it and I’m off work tomorrow!

I think night 2 has a better card, agreed. @Castia

Im fckin knackered. Went to sleep at 8am, and got about 2 hours sleep. And now im ready again for tonight (and I reckon the show will be longer even without a delay)

McIntyre vs Lashley was very good, and I was surprised by the winner. The tag title match had a strange dynamic, in the heel AJ playing the face in peril role, but the purpose of the match was to get Omos over, and it did that.

Hopefully Cesaro gets a title run push after this, not straight away but down the line. I absolutely did not need to hear Corey Graves yelling “we’re going swinging” though.

Braun ripping apart the cage was a cool visual in an underwhelming match. Nice to see Braun get the upset victory over the 51 year old non-wrestler who’s over 100lbs lighter than him. I’ll be honest, I thought they might do a repeat of Big Show throwing Austin through the cage and give Shane the win that way.

Hey Hey Hop Hop came up on my Spotify for some reason, and I don’t like that I liked it. Morrison’s hair is upsetting me. What a performance by Bad Bunny! The most impressive celebrity performance ever? I can only think of Floyd Mayweather and Stephen Amell to compare, but they’ve got more athletic backgrounds than Bunny, which makes his even more surprising.

Bianca’s hair is more dangerous than Walter’s chop. Excellent match too, Bianca looked like a star.

Overall a good night, but not a great one. There were four good matches. Hopefully Night Two steps it up a gear.

Looking at the card for Night Two, though, there’s a lot of pressure on three matches to carry things. Zayn/Owens, Asuka/Rhea and the main event.

I don’t know what a Nigerian drum match is, but it doesn’t sound like a classic in the making. The women’s tag match has one decent competitor in. I don’t like Riddle. Then there’s a Fiend match, and I am so over those.

I thought Night 1 was OK, but I definitely didn't enjoy it as much as others. The Braun and Shane ending was poorly done I thought. Why didn't Shane just win? Why not just wave to him outside the cage? Why not event try and pull your arm out before he gets to you? So illogical. But it got them the 'spot' of Braun ripping the cage which is what they wanted.

I felt the same way about the main event. I thought it was decent but largely just spot-after-spot with no real flow or logic holding it all together. But that seems to be most matches these days. I just miss solid storytelling and days before everything was about 'moments' that come together without any build-up or logic.
