I don't get this from the opening page. The last game we played we won 2 nil and if its premier league games then we beat Brighton. so what gives what am I missing.

There's indirectly a lot at stake in this game. Win this one and Tottenham almost certainly loses out on Champions League.
(every top 6 opponent has better fixtures)

Could mean Kane will want to move away if we win. (Not that anyone can afford Levy's probably insane asking fee). I wonder if he has a clause, with all of this smoke in the press.

So basically, win the game, stay behind, negotiate Kane, Kane comes home on our bus?

Crikey there is a lot at stake!

Read it the other way round. It's PL results, we beat Brighton, West Ham and City and before that we drew to Palace and Chelsea.

This is now a must win game with City slipping up. If we win both our games in hand, the gap is 8 points. I know it is City, but putting that pressure on them to test there grit would be awesome, especially now that they are also focusing on the champions league and league cup final. If the gap between us at the end of the season was less than 10 points, it would be a great achievement regardless of how rubbish our football has been. I simply cannot wait for to see our mentality for this.

It's a little more advanced than that. Both parts also need a translator to understand Kane's voice, and vice versa.

There's also the Mourinho part. We need to please him with the number 3 somehow, so Bailly #3 will be thrown into the mix.

I want to destroy them so bad. Fecking hate the smug version of Mourinho. 0-3 United.

I would love us to play well, score goals and win there, for the league position, to avenge the home defeat and why not, maybe the special one will grow some more white hair.
But I would also take a boring 0-0 draw, not because I like it or I want it, but because it is more likely to happen.

Win both games in hand it's 8 points, it's unlikely if near enough impossible to think they'd throw it away now but I look at it like this.

We threw it away for them once, who knows what added pressure can bring.

I would say this more of a must win game for Spurs than it is for us but a win really does take some of the pressure off us. Don't think we will get beat but Just will be wary of a sucker punch on the counter. Really can't call this one and would not be surprised if it ended up 0-0

Need revenge for the 6-1. So annoying that we had such a shit start given where we are now.

Exactly. It’s not over till it’s over. I highly highly doubt they won’t win it, but we’ve got to focus on ourselves and winning every game possible.

Unfortunately four of remaining fixtures are Spurs, Liverpool, Leicester and Villa.

Taking maximum points is itself a task!

Exactly at this stage and to the contrary of what i have previously said, I dont care how we beat spurs, just win. I want revenge for Jose humiliating us at OT.

I don't normally care too much about settling old scores, but I really hope that spurs players "reaction" to the translator's comments after their last match is to hand a massive spanking win to United that sees the silver haired fraud seething.

The performances haven't been that great for a while and we've seen all of the teams struggle after Europa League ties so a point today would be a positive result albeit beating Mourinho would be very satisfying.

We must win. Only 8 points behind City on lost points now. If they lose a couple more games, who knows... So we have to win all 8

Can't see this one being pretty on the eyes. Think both teams will be cautious as neither of them are particularly that fluid in attack at the moment. United will be well aware of their threat on the counter, likewise Spurs with ours.

Going for 1-1, which will be a decent result.

Although I’d love for the players to come out all guns blazing, this seems more likely.

Don't worry, he'll be leaving soon and the debate will be all over

Even more annoying is our form from mid-January to mid-March when City started to pull away. Think we dropped more points here than we did earlier on in the season.

If it's a shit game, this will be the only headline unfortunately
It is shit yeah, how would you guys feel if every match on Sky you had to sit through an hour of debate about how Bruno needs to leave to go to Real Madrid.

I would take a draw. I can see this being like the Leicester game where they have had a week to prepare while we'll be still feeling the effects of Thursday night.

We had it with Ronaldo for multiple summers. It's depressing. I get the feeling Sky like using it as a dig at Mourinho though.

To be honest, I genuinely don't think he's going to go simply because he's priced out of the market. Realistically you're looking at PSG and City, and I think City may go for Haaland, and I don't think PSG will have him.

That's the trouble with players like Kane. The market is so crazy, the pool of clubs these players can go to is so small. Similar to Pogba and us. I think he's only still here because of the price tag.

Possibly, I mean both definitely piss me off. The Sheffield loss, the late Everton goal in the 3-3 draw, West Brom draw...so easy to see where another 8 points could have come from.

Yes, that is why if we finished 2nd with 8 points or less, then I want to see what other clever arguments/agendas the non believers going to use after that.

«Going for it» will be an disaster with our players tired and Spurs counter attacking against our slow and tired back line. Need to keep things tight and hope for a pen.

Can we not figure out who’s doing it ffs?

It’s our of order, has to be coming from somebody in the dressing room. If I were Ole I would tell each of them an entirely different starting 11 and see which one is leaked
