The other BT one (not Darren Fletcher) is a million times worse. The most opinionated shite I’ve ever heard - acts like he’s played the game himself winning it all.

An off night for Darke for sure. He’s usually good. Always enjoyed him for boxing too.
It says something when even Robbie Savage gave up laughing at his jokes. BT genuinely have a horrific line up of pundits. It doesn’t help that we seem seem to have Humphries, Scholes, Hargreaves for every game.
Attention levels of both him and Savage were obviously lacking when they were talking about us bringing on Elanga forgetting we'd already made 5 subs

As others have said it’s a shame Sky ditched him for boxing commentary....not because he’s better than Adam smith just because he’s shite at football commentary. He’s a walking sound bite.
This sums him up perfectly.
Most commentators can get annoying but they often have periods where they are quiet/the other commentator talks. I swear Darke just started talking from the first minute, nursed his semi for Pogba to get a red and then caught his breath at halftime before diving into another 45mins of meandering football facts and bad puns
