I keep seeing people saying they love seeing it with Borussia Dortmund, so give them a shot?

I agree with you. It's a shame that some fans are supporting this SL. It's not Manchester United anymore.
Could the city councils do anything for the clubs not being able to use the names of the cities if they want? I saw it in the news somewhere that they may have the power to do so.
Interesting thought. I'd imagine there's a shedload of legal issues that could stem from this. They are brazen enough and financially powerful enough to try to pull it off. Top-flight football will be dead if it happens. Sad day.

Always fun to go follow your team in person. Make sure they are on tv often then as it’s not fun biting your nails listening to the radio or waiting for a notification!
Listening to sports on the radio is great! I regularly listen to basketball that way and I loved when United were on the radio back in the day before streaming was so easy

I’ll support United’s franchise probably. Not as passionately though.

If this football eschaton were to come, there is nothing left for me to follow or support. All hope would be gone to chaos, all love buried forever, every dream shattered.

I would not look for another in this swamp of treachery.

Maybe I'd make an exception for Hull City Tigers, but that's about it.

If I were in this situation with Southend (hahahaha!) I would support Canvey Island. Very local and no animosity with Southend. They are semi-pro but I couldn't give two shits about that.

FC United of Manchester surely? Thats the heart and soul of our club now.
If we do go through with this, this is one of the last times I'll ever refer to the club I've supported since I can remember being alive as "we". The club whose kits I used to get my dad to buy for me, who I used to cry for when we lost, and went mad when we won. All those memories. Gone. The club is dead. Frankly it was mortally wounded when the Glazers took over and its just taken this long to die slowly.

If I reach the point where I'm done with utd, I'll be done with football.

I wouldn't be able to support anyone else

I’ve had more bad memories listening on the radio than good ones so it’s not for me
