After hammering this shit relentlessly for 2 days now that it looks like its not happening I'll say I hate the Champions League changes but better than this I suppose.

Record signing for each of these PL clubs in the summer and 75% of their fanbases will forget all about this.

Wonder which of Johnson and Neville will be the more relieved that they probably won't even have to pretend to be concerned about foreign ownership for as much as a week. The latter can get back to waxing his carrot about the "awe inspiring" Abu Dhabi sportswashing taking place on several continents.

Not sure why anyone was worried. After all, it was Woodward who was involved in negotiations.

Saying that while you are sitting in your 10m castle bought by the oil gulf money. That is why I hate the hypocrisy of footballers. Where were you yesterday? or you knew your club is pulling out now you have the chance?

It'll look fecking disgusting if it ends up with the only one standing alongside Perez is the fecking Glazers.
Glazers will bail before Kroenke, huge financial gain whilst completely ignoring the sporting aspect won't be given up without a fight.

Absolute scenes when it turns out this whole thing was a UEFA false flag to make their changes more palatable.

(Not actually serious, just to be clear)

I know Perez wanted the game to be shorter but this whole thing seems to have lasted a very short time IMO.

I think this might actually happen.

They've maximised profits since 2003, and the ESL was going to be their cash cow. Now the cow is dead, they've got nothing left to gain.
Don't agree the cow is even remotely dead. Manchester United is far bigger than this.
But I absolutely agree that the Glaziers have got to withdraw United before they are left high and dry. And then do the only thing they can do and get out of our football club.

I don’t even know if it is that. Hardly anything has genuinely happened. I few tweets and Gary Neville yesterday then a few people turning up at Stamford Bridge. Seems a bit easy..
Last 48 hours I've been reading other forums from those 12 clubs. I've been in contact with people, both fans and players. Except som boys and girls loving players and not game itself on forum everybody are pretty much against it. Clubs have lost memberships. Sponsors are losing people. And so on.

And that interview Perez had yesterday was on of the biggest misstakes ever. He pretty much "changed" sport and sounded so arrogant and selfcentered. World saveour. I would say that Woodward, if ManUtd pull out, along with Agnelli and eventually Perez depending on Madrid fans, are done in football at highest level.

Sad thing is all these clubs, especially I am concerning about united, after calling them bluff have now lost respect and leverage within UEFA.

I thought people were adamant that they "thought this through" and "no way they pull out". It's JP Morgan, they have lawyers! Everything is set up

feck you Glazers, go hide now
Spare a thought for the interns who spent nights and weekends putting together the PowerPoint decks for the SuperLeague financials

So we're going to pull out the day before the first match and pay a few hundred million for the privilege.

They are so arrogant that they probably thought people would like it.
Its the Silicone valley disrupter mentality. You saw it on a small scale with The Athletic. In the early days the CEO openly said that he wanted to destroy the local news beat, or words to that effect. The Yank capitalists see it as a route to progress.

How embarrassing that we only follow City and Chelsea's lead on this.
It’s not like that at all imo. This crazy shit has been done to get leverage. Just wait and see, all the top dogs will be back in their positions and happy. Well that’s my take on it anyways.

or it’s the most idiotic plan of all times

Don't worry this concern will have disappeared just in time for payday and he'll have forgotten all about the whole thing entirely by the time Qatar 2022 rolls around.

They have all shown that they do not care about their fan bases one bit. Withdrawing doesn’t change that.
