Not to go all tin-foil hat, but this one is a bit weird.

So "masked protestors" attacked his house - if that's true they'd obviously be a bunch of morons, and one thing you know about morons is that they like to film themselves doing moronic things... yet this hasn't been on any social media or anything for a full week? And if there's no images, and the police weren't informed, then how do we know they were "Masked Protestors"? Basically you'd be relying on Ed's own CCTV for that, at which point he has decided to not tell the police, but has told the press? Seems bizarre... but then Ed is a bizarre man i guess.

And hasn't Ed sold his Cheshire house to move down to London???

It's not even justified though. He was employed to do a job. All that ire should be directed at the owners.
This exactly. Targeting Woodward has always be a non starter as he is just the yes man, it's where his orders are coming from is where the hate should be directed, but never in this manner. There are more humane ways to protest something.

Don’t think anyone’s flying to Tampa to cause a stir there

No, he was the one appointed to make it happen, because that was his job. He was then employed to carry out a role created and imagined by the club owners.
Without being mean and toxic I genuinely think some fans here aren't sure how employment works...

So essentially, worst case scenario is that someones played knock a door run at a house he used to own and Sky Sport News are reporting this shite as an attack on his home? Neil Ashton is playing a fecking blinder.

 i know. It was sort of surreal there for a moment, to think cowboy Ed was running things his way, against the vision of the owners/without their consent.
 Like he's Grima Wormtongue from Lord of the Rings.

It's beggars belief.

This is a disgrace and blot on the club. If they want to protest, go to the USA and seek out the Glazers.

Some high IQ individuals in this thread would accept murder from Woodward because 'he was unemployed to do it'.

It's beggars belief.

Not securing the transfer of your favorite winger is equivalent to murder. Yeah I'd like to remain as a high IQ individual.

He's also been compared to a Nazi. It didn't take long...

I can’t believe Joel, Avram, Judge et al could be arsed to don hoodies again and repeat their show for Ashton’s amateur filmmaking project. For all the efforts put into this, it begs the question: ‘Why not, yknow , try running the football club properly instead?’ There would be no need for such contrived stunts.

that’s not on. if you have a grievance with someone and you know where there house is, you should do what any sane person does and shit in their flowerbed. i’ve done this for years with one of the neighbours after a dispute about an unclaimed wheely bin. we have been cordial otherwise and they often complain about foxes in their garden. i pretty much mimic the diet of an urban fox nowadays to really mask the identity of the pop culprit.
Many thanks for a good laugh, mate. May your sense of humour always be with you.

Seems like typical dirty PR work again. To smear the names of fans and protestors, so their credibility is ruined. This is probably just a start.

Happened last week, but only reported today?
Nobody was home but apparently everyone knows it was United protestors?
His home was attacked, but only the front gate was damaged? What, did they go to have a picnic?
Nobody conveniently took pictures this time.

Does he even still live there ffs?

What a load of bull.

Funny how Manchester United protestors are said to have "broken" into the training ground as well.
Prime reporting from SkySports. Prime garbage.

Don't really care. He doesn't live there and its a small protest - hardly like the house was under siege.

The first time round when a few people shouted and lobbed a firecracker over his gate and i pointed out that it was nothing in the scheme of things i was called a cnut and all sorts by the easily offended brigade so no doubt anyone not moved to tears over this savage atrocity will get grief

Or write something rude in their lawn using weed killer, such as the "paedo" that was written into a teacher's lawn at my old school. It took ages to grow out.
