Job done! Finally scaled a semi final. DDG our MOTM. Earned his spot for the final. We'll be out on our feet by the final but hopefully we can summon up one big performance.

Annoyed we lost that, was there even a check on their winner? He looked well offside

I’ll put that performance partially down to complacency, but Jesus we need some reinforcements in the Summer.

Let’s finish the job now.

Job done but that was not pretty, could have easily conceded 6.

Let's just hope it was complacency. Looking forward to the final vs Villareal :smirk:

I hate 2 legs where the tie is already decided. That was boring...

Thankfully only conceded 3, can’t remember the last time we conceded so many shots on target

Watching Cavani taking the back off the net, a la Mark Hughes. Greenwood with coiled springs in both feet, waiting to strike. Bruno's side foot passes. Even with a second string side, in a European semi final, we can still go up a gear and carve teams open. Of course they were going to throw the kitchen sink at us, they had to, but we had this game won a week ago so this was always going to be a case of damage limitation. We kept a 3 goal cushion, players were rested, and we are in a European final.

I would have to say, we have seen some awful United sides post Fergie. Fellaini assaulting people with his elbows. Phil Jones slipping over on his face and letting the opposition clean through on goal.

Despite this, there have always been green shoots of hope sprouting up with the academy players coming through, and I think we really have cracked that balance now with players who want and feel it, mixed with some genuine quality. We have signed some strong characters as well. This team looks proper decent. Pogba and Fernandes running the show. They look a like a team that are enjoying themselves, and we are winning in the process.

We are finally turning the screw on the Glazers, and things will eventually have to change for the better.

It's a great time to be a Manchester United fan.

We don't have a second gear. its either go full pelt or be really shit.

Big reason why we keep going behind in games too..
Big problem.. but other than that.. finals.. great..

Why.. Why do we always lose concentration? Bailly really has too little tactical awareness. Brandon seems lightyears from the starting XI. As does Telles.

Really bizarre game. They scored 3 goals by playing pinball in our box, and we couldn’t deal with it. They looked dangerous every time they got forward.

Job done, but worrying how many chances we gave them. I personally thought we should have went with Scott instead of Pogba in MF and then shift Pogba to the left wing.

Van De Beek was poor as well i thought. Very sluggish and making the wrong decision. Light years between him and Bruno who was class.

Total shit show from everyone except DDG, Cavani and to some extent Bruno. Anyways, into a final under Ole, finally.

Worst defending I have seen by us in ages. They took the biscuit today.

Hopefully a kick up the arse and some skull cracking from Ole. Job done but that was an awful watch.

I'm just going to chalk that up to complacency and the players being told not to expend energy unnecessarily (and taking it too far.)

Piss poor defensive performance from our lot tonight. Pogba anonymous and provided no cover, we can't play him in DM anymore, his skills just don't suit that role. Let's hope we perform better in the final, they deserve a bollocking for that.
