2 man midfield
Last Man Standing finalist 2021/22
2-2
No way, I’d love for you to be right but Atletico have the tie breaker against usCan't see Sevilla winning it and Atletico haven't been that convincing lately. Unfortunately, if Madrid lose tonight, I can se Barcelona winning the tilte. Sadly.
But still better than Madrid.
Atletico's to lose. What does this mean now? Who is in the driving seat?
Thanks.Atletico's to lose.
its easy to run when you don t got kante hounding youSo two things: if we have this energy, where was it against chelsea? Was it really just chelsea being too good? (And if so, fine, so what about betis?)
And if we can play with this energy we still have a chance of winning this fecking league
Sure but we looked just as dead against betis(and osasuna, for that matter, though we still won. We've looked dead since the clasico in fact, apart from 10 minutes in cadiz with a heavily rotated side)its easy to run when you don t got kante hounding you
I think Altetico come out of this the happier of all 3. Sevilla I don't see them pipping any of the top 3 honestly. So, that's it. The weekend when everything was supposed to be decided.
0-0 and 2-2.
Nothing's decided.
Atletico 77
Real 75
Barca 75
Sevilla 71
Real have the hardest 3 games without doubt.Atletico also has arguable the more favorable last 3 games than Barca and Real. Barca looking the trickiest of the 3.
real definitely have the harder schedule, not usI think Altetico come out of this the happier of all 3. Sevilla I don't see them pipping any of the top 3 honestly.

haha no, we are in poor form and need Atletico to flat out loseBarcelona will win this league title.
Atletico has been very close to complete the most disastrous bottle job but somehow Barcelona and Real Madrid haven't been up for it to take the lead from them. They've been very lucky to stay at the top and after today they the favorites again to win the league.Does anyone actually want to win the league over there?
Right now logically City or Chelsea. I imagine it depends on the level of the teams. These types of sensations are based on the most immediate.Just out of interest to the Spanish posters on here. Nah, much prefer head to head. Allows teams to play more open during the season since goal differential doesn’t matter as much. Real have comfortably been the best of all the teams the top 4 have played each other. Would feel like robbery if Barca won a tiebreaker with Madrid due to goal differential while getting 0 points against Real.Considering heat to head to decide a league title is lame. 2 games don't reflect a season. GD is a better parameter to decide the league.
That is a very possible option: a draw on points with Barça. The game against Real Sociedad is the key and there could be the draw, or win against Real and draw against Valladolid, which is struggling not to be relegated and could be a rough gameThink Atletico can afford a draw but nothing more than that.
Considering that the title is for the best team over a season, GD is a better metric. Over 2 games, a host of other factors and fine margins may come into significant influence - injuries, dip in form, refereeing, luck etc. In any game, teams don't just decide to stop scoring. Number of goals scored is objectively a better pointer to the quality of a team over a season than 2 odd games.Nah, much prefer head to head. In addition, due to RMs draw, you also need them to drop points.haha no, we are in poor form and need Atletico to flat out lose
Atletico have only mustered two wins in a row once in the last three months. You have Pep's Barca form compared to them.haha no, we are in poor form and need Atletico to flat out lose
Barcelona have had the superior goal difference every single season in the last decade except in 2011-2012. That season, RM had it, and it was the 100 point, 121 goal RM that Mourinho loves to brag about. The goal difference between Real Madrid and Barcelona was a measly 4 goals. They've had a better goal difference than the champions even in seasons in which they don't win anything and are uniformly considered to be weak.Considering that the title is for the best team over a season, GD is a better metric. What do you mean? How they are seen now, or in general? Because in general, the only club that scares madridistas is bayern munich, and maybe juventus, due to historical precedents. Milan used to, but when they were Milan...i'd say bayern and milan were the two clubs who we saw as peers. Now it's only bayernJust out of interest to the Spanish posters on here. I don't think PL clubs inspire a lot of fear these days because who is at the top of the PL is fairly fluid (except for City, who'd had issues in European competition) so it's hard to keep that reputation.Just out of interest to the Spanish posters on here. I think it always depends on the relative strengths of the teams. In the late 2000s the top four in the Premier was rather strong, but some years after that most English clubs were ending their cycles, Barcelona kept on being strong, Madrid became very strong (as compared to the late 2000s) and other clubs like Atletico and Sevilla were also getting very good results in Europe, with two CL finals and 3 Europa Leagues respectively. During those years the fear was very reduced.Just out of interest to the Spanish posters on here. How are the big PL clubs viewed in Spain? It depends, if you're talking about the press sometimes I think they underestimate some teams and overestimate others. A couple of seasons ago I thought of Liverpool as the scariest one in terms of drawing them, then you have people considering City the best side in England and while it might be true whenever we draw them I'm confident we're going to trash them; it's not something related to their quality or strength as a team but more like their lack of experience within the competition in the latter stages, something like a mental block by them.Just out of interest to the Spanish posters on here.
